3251-004 LED Night Marshalling Wand/Flare - 3 Mode Flash/Strobe/Steady

I need wands to direct traffic in low light conditions during sunrise . . . drivers couldn't see my hand signals w/out them. Bought several different brands/styles/sizes. One other brand broke apart while merely waving it around during first use. Others just were not bright enough. One well known brand in the law enforcement field worked great but at almost 4x the cost. The construction of this one was MUCH better than most. I found this "C" size battery size much easier to grip than "D." NOTE: The handle came in the color Red, not Black as shown in the picture -- better visibility in my opinion. I recommended this wand to my employer and purchased a second to have one for each hand while working my intersection.

Solid design and push button. Squared butt affords more control when cold with gloves on. Used for several weeks for marshalling aircraft.

I was looking for safety wands that were smaller and more compact than the large wands that seem to be the easiest to find, and used C cells rather than D cells. These fit the bill perfectly, and have a very even light diffusion inside them, and they're also very visible, definitely not too small. Per the other review, probably not the most robust wand out there, but I think they will work well for my use with directing traffic at search and rescue missions.

Works perfect as expected and more great for all the Airport Rampers. Been doing it for 10+ years and this is a quality product.

Garbage. The orange part of the lens is brittle, the circuit card doesn't last more than about a month, and the little rubber button falls out and causes a FO hazard. These should be removed for Amazon.

I work on a flightline and we went through oh about 25 of these in three-four months. The downfall with the short life is the circuit card in these make it very fragile to any drops or rough treatment. If you drop these on the ground by accident chances are (as with my unit)it will not work any more. Looking at them after the fact we found the circuit card breaks or develops a crack in it. If you plan on being gentle with these they will work just fine, battery life was also very good and they are very bright and lightweight.I would not recommend these for application where they are subjected to semi-rough to rough treament.

The picture doesn't match the product the real color is solid orange and not black and orange the color in the picture is the main reason I decided to go with it.
