Dapping Block Punch Puncher Round Circle Metal Forming Steel (26 Piece)

I've wanted a set of these since I was a young apprentice in the 70's. I just never did that much doming work to justify the purchase. Now I dabble in rings made of various materials and these work very well for that purpose. The block and punches appear to be machined very well and are accurate throughout their diameters. A nice wooden stand holds everything in place and in order. Wish I had bought them sooner.

Had to make a puffed gold heart that was 1.7mm thick. Had no issues with the product and great on pricing!

So pleased with this dapping set and use often with my art and craft business. The packaging was excellent as came oiled to prevent rust. I had priced at local retailers and their cost was much higher. This did take me some time to learn to use as I am a novice to metal forming. However, I bought the smaller set and wish I had gone ahead and purchased the larger one. The photo shows dapping on one of my Viking jewelry pieces which uses annealed copper for the larger pendant disc. Excellent product.

Everything arrived perfectly. Nice wooden holder and super dapping/doming tools. All tools are smooth and were coated in machine oil to prevent rusting. I have used them in a couple of craft projects already and I’m so happy to have this wonderful set to try new techniques. This very heavy set was packaged extremely well for shipping. Thank you.

Ordered 2 of these and am very happy with the purchase - wasn't sure after reading reviews that said parts were missing or damaged and products were going to arrive in bags of leaking oil - Product is extremely well packaged and while the was a light coat of protective oil it took 2 paper towel and about 5 minutes to clean of each part and put the set together - all parts were there and there was NO damage to any part - the set in functional and appears well made. Would not hesitate to recommend this tool and shipper. Thanks for the opportunity to express my pleasure with this purchase.

I bought this dapping set for detailed work in silver. I have found all these tools to be of excellent quality and workmanship, suitable for fine work in precious metals. The spherical punch ends have a mirror finish; the block has slight machining marks--but these aren't transferred to my work. I expect this set to serve me well for years--at a fraction of the price of a Durston set. Highly recommended! Note: many buyers have commented on the heavy oil on the metal when they received the set. That's there to protect the tools from rust during transport, and is easy to remove.

I’ve only used it a few times, but it’s working super well so far. My only complaint is that I received 2 #15 and no #17
