Bob's Red Mill Golden Couscous, 24 Oz (4 Pack)

The local stores are like 5 bucks for a little box, and rationed to 1 box. I eat this often times for breakfast, or make a side dish with dinner. You can flavor it with almost anything from Nutella to jam to nuts and herbs. A little honey. It's all good. But I couldn't get it. I found this Couscous from Red Mill, it tastes fine, had it with peanut butter this morning. 6 lbs will last me a while. The price was good, compared to what the local store charged when they had it. So I am happy, one less thing to have to spend time at the store trying to find.

Makes many things. You can even feed it to your dog mixed with meat and veggies.

I purchased Bob's Red Mill Golden Couscous to save money over "boxed" couscous and to remove additives and preservatives from my side dishes. Until this purchase, I had not tried Golden Couscous. This couscous is very good. It is quick side to make and has a good texture. It is plain, so I do add my own spice blends and olive oil to the water when preparing the couscous. For example, my lunch today consisted of Bob's Red Mill Golden Couscous (prepared first with Emeril's everything spice) and sauteed with olive oil, mushrooms, and sliced bratwurst in a pan. I love to save money and it's even better when you know you're getting a great product. Bob's Red Mill Golden Couscous is allowing me to eat "cleaner" in a yummier, more health conscious way.

This product makes excellent couscous, if made according to directions. It is easily modified by adding dried herbs or using canned meat broths. It is a far better value than other couscous products available in supermarkets.

This is truly a find! Never will I use the boxed versions in the store again. It came our fluffy and quite tasty. I didn't know what I was missing.

The couscous was well packed, and came less than a week after I ordered it. I expected it to be much harder to "cook," but when you have to just boil water and add it to something, anybody can do it. I love the taste, and I've learned that you can add all kinds of things to it and come close to having a full meal with little cooking. Best of all, there's no added salt, which is a real plus for someone on a low sodium diet.

Bob’s red mills is never a disappointment. This couscous has a nutty rich flavor, I can add a few fresh ingredients and make an easy delicious meal.
