Wow, my husband loved this. We were in awe when he opened it. To discover your precious, you need to buy this item. 8 years together and we still appreciate the little things.

Ordered two of this item. One had surface scratches on a couple of the rings, and both were poorly packaged. The corners of the packages were not attached and coming apart, and there was very insufficient packing material. My theory on the scratches is that the screw driver (needed to change the combination) was rubbing against the cryptex due to poor packaging to keep the items separate during transit. Not at all suitable for gift giving. Probably going to return one and shop for suitable boxes to present the crytex as a gift. Oddly, I had previously purchase a gold cryptex like these (maybe from a different company), but the box was more sturdy and the interior packing was thick foam that had custom cutouts for both the cryptex and the screwdriver. The gold item is no longer available so I bought the silver from this company.
