I really like this paper!
This is a student-grade watercolour paper, and I know the advice is usually to go for 100% cotton even if you're a beginner, but I found this cellulose-based paper to be easy to work with. It's heavily sized so the paper withstands blending. Being on a glued block can be convenient as I don't need to tape and stretch the paper, but sometimes it's a nuisance as it means working on only one piece at a time (unless I take a sheet off, but that defeats the purpose of the glued block). If you're starting out, this is a good one to choose. My favourite is now Arches though.

Block is hard to separate
I had a hard time separating paper from block! Otherwise good paper for the price

It's cellulose paper but it doesn't say that anywhere on the product
I want to preface this by saying that this is not bad paper and in fact is better than some other cellulose papers I've tried. The paper doesn't absorb pigment as well as cotton paper but colors are bright and true on it, though I would recommend against using granulating colors on it--since pigment sits differently on it it's really easy to shift the paint around when reactivated so you might accidentally end up lifting entire sections of a piece.I am a bit disappointed in this paper however since nowhere on the packaging or product page does it say that it's cellulose. Cellulose paper is good for practice and studies (or if you can't afford the ridiculous recent prices of something like Fabriano Artistico or Arches blocks) so it's not entirely bad but with how great Hahnemuhle's other papers are I was surprised and frustrated at this paper's performance.Anyway this would be a definite 5/5 *IF* the paper was advertised as cellulose instead of just "surface sized." My fault for not looking into it more before I bought it.

Something new to like!
I wouldn't have known this paper existed if it hadn't been recommended on social media. I Like it a lot!

Not great but not horrible
There’s not anything specifically bad about this paper but there’s something about it that I can’t put my finger on. At the same time, I do like it in some ways. What I do notice is that the paper does not absorb the water very well so when you are painting, it glides across the surface before soaking in. It makes it difficult to do layers and I had more issues with landscapes than with flowers. I don’t really know what to say about this paper because I don’t like but I don’t not like it either. However, I don’t think I will be buying it again. I prefer my bachmore paper to this and it comes with another 20 sheets of paper than this one does.

Blocks shouldn't buckle.
Accepts the paint well, and color lifts okay. However, this is a watercolor block, and the whole point of blocks is to hold the paper flat while painting. Not sure if the photo shows how much this has buckled while painting wet into wet. The paper didn't flatten back out after drying, either. I will stick with Arches paper in the future.
