Why'd You Wait So Long
Actually, Dash the Cat looked up at me and said , "Where the f*** has this been?" I was worried the mechanical sound would freak him out. Now if he hears it turn and the tray is empty, he comes to tell me to get my @ss in gear. Edited to add: I found backup trays here on Amazon, so I can have one in use while the other one is in the dishwasher.

works as it should.my cat likes it. it has helped with her waking me at 3am..mostly... i live in an apartment the motor turning the tray is not loud. i have yet to hear it usually just the recording of my voice that i hear to call my cat to eat. the recording is not perfect but my cat doesn't care. would recommend.

Cat finally stopped screaming
Solved my problem! My cat kept waking me up earlier and earlier screaming for food (not a meow, a scream) the vet suggested feeding him on a timer so he would mess w the food bowl and let me sleep. It's the perfect size for a cat, I have it set to feed him every 6 hours and now he doesn't scream at 4 am.
