Bar's Leaks Cooling System Radiator Stop Leak 16.9 oz.

It worked for me, although I can’t speak for everyone’s situation. A lot depends on the type of leak you have—whether it’s coming from a hose, the radiator, or another part of the cooling system. In my case, I used it and it stopped the leak. I would say it may work well if the leak is small or minor. If you have a major leak, your results may be different. For the price, it was worth trying and it helped solve my problem. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just used an almost 5-year old bottle of this stuff on a 2007 F150 4.6L with the normal radiator, it was pissing everywhere, it got the truck 12 miles home without a drop leaking!

Though it doesn't do a permanent fix, it has helped, and I am comfortable until I can do a permanent repair

The heater core in my 1995 Grand Cherokee has been seeping since 2000. I used this product in 2000 and it fixed the problem. Over the last 23 years with regular antifreeze flushing, the water pump started leaking. While replacing the water pump, the 20 year old radiator had old signs of leakage that this product had obviously sealed. I replaced the water pump, radiator and thermostat. After refilling with new antifreeze, the heater core started seeping and fogging up the windshield again. I purchased a new bottle of this product and only put in 3oz of the 16.9 and the leak was fixed. My plan was to add 3oz, drive for a few days and stop adding once it stopped fogging up the windshield. I already had some residual product in the system, so only wanted enough to stop the fogging. I suggest you do the same to avoid the issues others have had with too much product in the system which will cause additional issues. If you are adding coolant daily, replace the leaking item as this not a long term solution for these leaks.

IT REALLY WORKS! Hello ya'll, I was faced with a 750 dollar repair bill for a leaky radiator, Not a small leak either, within 10 minutes the radiator was 75% empty, so with that being said I followed instructions and within 30 minutes, NO MORE LEAK! So If you find yourself in the same boat I was in, I'd say give it a shot.

Unfortunately this did not work.for me. I had a completely empty radiator. Put a new thermostat in and did a full cycle and purge. Have a small leak at the top near the upper radiator hose. This product stopped it for a day. Leak is back.

My radiator on a 2010 Mercury Mariner V6 was leaking and a new radiator replacement if done myself would be about $300. It also would be a lot of work if you have ever watched a YT video on replacement. The SUV has about 230,000 miles and is not needed as my primary transportation. Before using the Bar's Leaks I would always smell coolant around the car and see a small leak in the cooling fin area. I no longer smell coolant or see a leak and the result was immediate after driving the Mariner for 30 minutes. I'm thrilled with the fix.

Warning. Purchased this for a small weep on the timing belt cover gasket on my ford 289 block. I only put half of the bottle, followed the 30min cycle, and worked perfectly. On the second run- the temp gauge spiked up immediately towards the high temp. I flushed, put fresh coolant, burped all the trapped air, and back to normal temp. Thinking it was just something else, I put the other half of the bottle back in. Followed the instructions again, and seems good. Then went out for a fun run, didn’t even drive hard, and the temperature jumped back to high temp. Stumped: removed temperature sensor, tested 27ohms at temp 189f. Tested the temp gauge with a potentiometer set at 27ohms- gauge sits at dead center. Everything seems to point to anti leak chemical interfering with the flow.

After 1 application, the leak in my rad was repaired. It did not affect any other components of the cooling system. Highly recommend.

I’d say it worked great, I did something very stupid, I had my van idling on my driveway for about twenty minutes or so and my neighbour saw smoke coming from it and alerted me, most of the fluid leaked out of the radiator and in the process it sprung a couple of leaks, went and checked on line with my very good friend the one and only Scotty Kilmer and Barr,s radiator stop leak is what he swore by, no regrets using it, most of the leaks are gone just a minor drip from what I believe is coming from the drain plug, glad I used Barr’s Stop Leak
