Redbarn White Bone for Dogs, Small 1-Count

I purchased this product expecting to receive 4 HOLLOW bones for $6.30. I obviously misread the item description as it is $6.30 for one small bone. The first one I got is very small and was hollow, however I did buy a 2nd one because I have two dogs but the 2nd one came partially filled which I didn't order. Needless to say both were disappointing purchases and I'll be sure to read product description more carefully.

I really hate leaving a bad review; this ad is misleading, and just plain wrong. This is NOT an issue of the product being bad. It is an issue of the information given in the ad is misleading and untrue. I cannot give it 5 stars, since I did NOT get what I expected to get, regardless of whether or not the bone is good. (I would not be leaving this feed back if this ad had been corrected. I asked that the ad be corrected, so that others are not misled too. I have waited over a week, and IT HAS NOT BEEN CORRECTED! So I feel I must share this information with others.)I ordered this product because the ad said that the retail value was $57.60, at a cost of $1.72. It goes on to say that you are saving 97%. I should have known that it was UNTRUE, but I read on and the more I read, I began to believe that it was a closeout item, and a good deal.They talk about "femur bones" (PLURAL); and the shipping weight is "1 pound;" as well as, the picture shows you 3 bones. So I assumed at the very least I would get 3 bones, and it was a reasonable, if I got free shipping by meeting their minimum. Since I could not envision 3 bones having a retail value was $57.60; so I ordered, the "bones" with the hope that there were more. I assumed that this must be a closeout, and I thought I was going to get a good deal. WHAT I GOT was 1 femur bone, if I had known it was ONE bone, I would NOT have ordered. ONE bone with a retail value of $57.60?????To the company's credit, they did refund me when I complained about being misled by the information in the ad. I have not seen the correction on my billing yet, but I would assume that since they told me it was being issued, that it will be on my next statement.Please note: You are NOT getting a good buy, or what you think you will get when ordering this product. Since you get ONE bone; I believe that this one 6 oz bone at $1.72, plus $5.49 shipping is too expensive. You are paying($7.21) for one bone that would cost $2.00 or less at a pet store.

I clicked on the small bone product description which said "6x1x1 inches". However, I received a 3 inch long bone. I have a staffy mix pup and initially thought the small would be good for a start. However, this bone is already a bit small for her. I also ordered a large bone (haven't yet received) for "down the line" but if this is an indicator of how they run, she will need the large now.

Read and confirmed by vet if you cannot make a dent with your finger nail it is too hard for the dogs teeth. You risk breaking teeth. So I tossed it vs chancing that. Review asks about flavor. Only one way I would know and I’m not going there.

I can't say anything positive about this bone. Neither of my dogs will touch it. It got nothing more than a barely interested sniff even AFTER I filled it with peanutbutter. Waste of money, but my vet raved about these. I guess they aren't a beagle thing. I have a 9 year old guy and a four month old girl. They dig cow ribs, pig ears, even plain old rawhide over this stupid bone!

Waste of money it was to dangerous for my dog pieces came off and looked like they were sharp it would have hurt my dog if she swallowed it. I would not recommend this company’s products ever I had to throw it away. I will never order from this company ever again.

As another person stated, this was falsely advertised. It said there were 5 bones, although it looks like the page has been change to reflect one. That is not what it said when I purchased it. I even exchanged it once as it appeared to be a mistake.. just to get one bone again. I’m not sure how to contact the company directly, but this has been a hassle while trying to be a teacher to my students and my own children.

I Have a pekingese... this bone is NOT small! It might be "short", but it's so big around and heavy she can't pick it up. I was looking for a bone for very small, small mouthed dog. Please change size to "short", not "small"
