It was exactly the part required. Replaced the old one in minutes. Just the job and easy to fit.

Purchased this item to replace a perfectly good Torbeck valve only because it promised to be a ' soft close ' valve and thought this would eliminate the 'bang' we were hearing as the water was shut-off once the cistern was full. No improvement at all - pipes still 'bang ' as water shuts off.

Very quick and easy to replace identical float.

Since fitting a similar style fill pipe, whenever a tap was turned on in the house, there seemed to be insufficient water pressure to keep the valve shut, consequently, the water would atrt to fill the cistern, above the overflow, and we would get a constant pouring into the toilet.Decided to try this one, as it said it was suited to low pressure systems, and it has done the trick. No longer do we suffer from a constant flow into the toilet bowl, whenever a tap in the house is turned on. So very pleased with it.

Still jamming,when filling with water!

For the past 12years have been having issues with our bathroom toilet not filling up fast enough after flushing due mainly to the fact of a gravity fed water system. I was not able to easily connect mains water in its' current location so basically suffered it!. Move forwards 12 yrs and after some intense research found the Wirquin Pro Jollyfill unit that claims to fill at 3 litres/min with just a 0.1 bar head of water. So ordered and fitted the said unit and 'success' works brilliantly! now fills 6litre cistern in less that a minute. I have tried various ball valve units but this one definitely works, highly recommended.
