This cap is a great value. It's the same as the original but comes with a retaining clip to prevent loss. It looks and works great.

I ended up with a defective product, so I immediately contacted customer service & they resolved the issue & shipped me a new box in less than 24 hours. I’m currently still waiting on it to arrive, as of yesterday, but I’m still gonna give a 5 star review for the immaculate customer service! The grips that I did receive are really sturdy so far. I can’t wait to actually receive the magnetic part. The grip still covers the pencil which helped with my previous situation of not having anything at all, haha!

These caps look and act just like the original Apple Pencil caps. The magnet is strong so it goes right to the pencil, and it feels very sturdy. I have ordered other products from this company, and have been very pleased with the quality was of their products.Edit 5/25/2020I had an issue with one of the cap’s metal rings coming out when I took the cap off to charge the pencil. Not really a deal breaker. I contacted the seller, who got back to me within a few hours. She promptly sent out to me a replacement of my purchase, even though it was only one cap that had problems. I’ve purchased other products from Techmatte, and am very impressed with the quality of the products, and the way the company responds to their customers. I will be dealing with them again for my tech needs.

The two extra caps are great to have for backups. I did buy this for the cap leash. I still have my original cap for my Apple Pencil but I put the original one away, and used one of the backups. I like the magnet with the backups. They are a little stronger than the original. For the price, just get it to save the stress of loosing the caps.If you have a case for your iPad that has a slow for the Pencil, it does fit but very tight and hard to push in and out. That was a deal breaker for me, as I use the slot for the Pencil all the time. But the extra caps are great to have
