MASO12-24V Multifunction LCD Electronic Car Thermometer Temperature Alarm Clock

I have had this device for nearly 3 months and up until the last week I have been very happy with it. My van is blue so I liked that you could switch the display between orange backlight or blue. I'm an electrician so I also liked being able to see the system voltage to know my van battery is healthy. Installing the external temperature sensor can be tricky, but that is an issue with modern vehicles, not a fault of this product.About a week ago I noticed a strange fault while I was driving. Both the interior and exterior temperature jumped up by 7°C stayed there for about 30 seconds then both went back down to the original temperature. About 30 seconds later it happened again, jumping up by exactly 7°C again. This only happened on one day, I have not noticed it since and I was driving I was unable to video the event. I've reported it to the seller and they have asked me for evidence.In the last 2 days we have had below freezing overnight temperatures. I have checked the displayed temperatures and found that the interior temperature appears to be accurate, but the exterior sensor stops at 0°C (see photos). I have contacted the seller to ask what the working range of the exterior sensor is, e.g. the minimum and maximum values, and they have replied saying that the manufacturer is unable to provide an answer! So they are now offering a refund, which I will probably take.I'm disappointed as I like the appearance of the product and up until the last week have enjoyed it's functionality. But as the exterior temperature helps us as drivers to understand what the road conditions are, it's really important to me that the exterior sensor works properly, so now I would not recommend this product.

I bought this little beauty and installed it about two weeks ago.I have to say it keeps time very accurately,which I have checked regularly via the time signal on the BBC. The display is excellent and very bright and readable.This display can easily be changed between a blue and amber colour via a switch on the side of the unit,and the voltage displayed gives a good indication of the health of the car's charging system,i.e. the battery and alternator. Some reviewers have commented on the ineffectiveness of the enclosed double sided sticking pad.However,I did not use this pad,but instead removed the conical base via the three screws,and mounted the clock with black tack,which is similar to blue tack,but infinitely stickier.Since fixing, the clock has not moved a millimetre. Having said all of this the clock,in my view,represents excellent value for money,and I would gladly recommend it to others .

It's a bit of a pain to install. Getting a suitable spot for the sensor is the main thing - which requires a bit of head scratching and innovation to attach. The sensors work well but the display does not really show at night. The device sent out to me was not a blue lcd display but a more grey/brown display common in alarm clocks. The double sided sticky pad is not great either - I'm going to purchase different pads to allow me to change batteries.

So far it seems to be a decent product.Was able to change the colour of the display to match my own car’s.The sticky pad for fixing to the dashboard is a joke!!!! Make sure and buy yourself a proper double sided adhesive pad.

This is fine does everything claimed. Some may wish a slightly smaller unit as addition to dashboard so consideration of size is advised. This would be 5 stars overall had it not been for the useless double sided sticky pad supplied. Sorted by using after market sticky pad. Easy!

Sensor wire broke during installation. Company contacted me and sent me a new one without any fuss. Much appreciated. 2nd installation was OK and works fine since.

Nothing supplied for adhering to dash but apart from that excellent so far

Sticky pads that dont stick, ties up a 12v socket while in use, but otherwise functional and attractive addition to anolder car. Battery voltage is a handy feature.
