Out of all the reviews no one has mentioned one small thing that is HUGE. If you are using this housing for outdoor use (which I would assume since you’re buying the housing it’s for outdoor use) white reflects the infrared night vision. See the attached photos. One photo is the white housing (hazy) and the other is the black housing (clear). Not even close to comparison for night vision quality.

I think the Wyze Cam is one of the best and most economical products in this category. I also think their app is elegant and very functional. Unfortunately, Wyze Cam does not have a dedicated outdoor model. So I decided to try this protective cover. I am happy with the quality and fit of the protective case, as well as the ease of mounting and apparent durability. Overall the product meets the specifications as described in the product listing.

Easy to install! Clean the window glass first. Use the top window as most double hung windows tilt in for cleaning. Drape the USB cable over the top of the window frame in a manner that will allow for hiding the cable to the side of the window frame. Close the window. Leave a drip loop to prevent water from running into the shelters housing.Have them on the front and back of my house.

I ordered the black-1pack because it is a bit cheaper than white. I saw photos of other buyers (the paint seems to stay on fairly good). When I received the item, I found it as I expected. What is most satisfying to me is that it does not destroy the night vision function of Wyze Cam. I have seen other similar products have such defects.

This does exactly as described but note that after 3 weeks the chrome has started to rust. Good thing is that it isn't obvious. There should have been some sort of coating on the metal to help with the corrosion. Either way, it gets the job done. If not for the rust, I would have given a 5.

I purchased these to provide some protection from the elements for my outdoor Wyze Cam installation. The cam fits perfectly inside the housing. The cam is not entirely enclosed as the lens opening is exposed as well as part of the back panel to allow for the micro USB port. This wall mount for the Wyze cam works extremely well. It’s easy to install and gives good protection for the camera. I have mine mounted under the roof overhang and have not had any issues.

My WYZE camera fits perfectly and I used it to mount the camera outside, by my front door, under an eve. I am hoping this cover will provide enough protection to make my camera last!
