Great product - glad we bought it.
We bought two of these two years ago and use them every time we go hiking. The staff is lightweight and easy to use. The wrist strap is comfortable and easily adjustable. I have bad knees and find that using the staff takes some of the strain off my knees, especially when going up or down on a trail. I really like the button type of adjustment rather than the friction kind used on some other walking sticks. The staff also provides extra stability so I can hike more confidently. We've used the spike to help us pick up trash we find on the trail. A friend in our camping group had been pooh-poohing whether a walking stick would be an advantage. She borrowed one of ours for a hike my husband was unable to take and discovered that they really do make a difference. You don't get as tired and you have a stick to clear cobwebs or discourage stray critters if needed.

Great Hiking Staff
Received promptly and works as advertised.Pro: Light weight and very sturdy. Snap lock length adjustment easy and secure. Walking foot easily removed revealing sharp ice point. Removable knob with 1/4-20 thread fits standard cameras. Have used an older version of this item for several years and it has been "bullet proof". Other than the fact that the older one I purchased has the foam covering option, I can find no difference between this item and the one I have loved for so long....maybe some things don't change after all, and in this case, thats a good thing.Con: NoneRecommend the product and supplier

Beast in class.
Best walking staff available, I have used 4 other brands. The only ones comparable are the ones I make for myself and friends. Like because it can adjust to the correct height, able to change the top and botum piece. Have used this staff for about seven years, until I caught it in a door and bent the lower unit and it would not adjust the height any longer. Adjustment is mandatory on airplanes. It is expensive but this is the only bad attribute that I have experienced. If it were cheaper I would purchase several more for other people who should be using staffs instead of canes.

This is great.
This staff is completely adjustable. There is no concern about it collapsing under pressure. It is light weight. It is a little long for my suitcase when I fly, but because I am unsteady on my feet, I would rather carry it. The only drawback for me is the spike under the foot for ice and snow. In South Texas, I don't need that, and airport security freaked over it (I did not know about it). I had to have mine cut off. All in all, it is a great staff. I have one in my house and one in my car.

hiking pole
Excellent relief for the hiker who also carries a camera. This one's price and construction are well matched.

luxuries become necessities
I keep this in my truck just in case I feel like a walk. I'm spoiled; when I walk without the stick, I miss it. I have lots of walking sticks but this one is my absolute favorite. It is extremely stable and comfortable. The Leki Sierra Photo is nice too, but the Tracks just seems more solid and secure. After 15 years, the walnut handle is like an old friend.
