Super comfortable all day long headphones - would give top brands a run fro their money
Bought these to replace an earlier version (E7's) as my kids had taken a liking to the old pair and I never get to use them anymore! As the e&'s were very good I had big expectations for these... thankfully I was not let down.Sound quality is right up there with the major brands like Bose but these are of course 1/4 of the price!Battery life is way superior to early models, I can get an entire weeks use and some more from these.I've never worn a pair of headphones so comfortable as these... important for me as I wear them all day whilst working.Bluetooth pairing is so simple, Bluetooth range is excellent I can walk the distance of a large office and not loose connection. These can also be uses as an audio headset in Skype for Business and the quality is not too bad.I would say the noise cancelling ANC is average - I can still hear talking from around me with ANC on - it does work and you can hear the difference it just needs some improvement. Also I did notice with ANC left on it drains the battery a lot faster. That aside these are the best headphones I've ever owned!Overall a fantastic product at a very decent price

Comfortable and great sound.
I mainly use these for watching movies or listening to music late at night so as not to disturb the family, but occasionally I wear them at other times like walking the dog or travelling on a train. The sound is great; good bass and all round range. The Active Noise Cancellation is good and it does make a positive difference.Comfort is good; I wear glasses but don't get uncomfortable in these E9s when worn for a reasonable amount of time, eg a 2.5-hour movie. They look great too, and I really like the back cover on the earpieces which have a nice ridged textured feel to them.I really like the individual plastic buttons rather than the rubber versions found on other headphones; I'm not confused about what I'm doing with these buttons whereas I've turned other headphones off instead of up before. The microphone works well too, even when walking the dog with a bit of wind blowing. They come in what I initially thought was a worryingly slim box, but that's because they fold really well. Packed nice and simple, just a box with a slim carry case inside it with the headphones, instructions and cables, including an airline adapter which is a nice addition. I like the case as it's sturdy and holds the headphones well; I particularly like the kind of shark fin divider that sits between the earpieces. The only downside to these headphones, and all Bluetooth headphones I've tried, is the light when in use. If I'm listening to music in the dark, it's not dark due to the light (two lights if ANC is on too). Easily rectifiable by closing my eyes, but if I'm in bed sneaking a late night listen it disturbs my partner. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could, but it's not an issue that's worth a whole star. I would like the ability to turn them off though. All in all a very decent, comfortable pair of Bluetooth headphones with good noise cancellation. I've tried a few wireless headphones and these are the best I've tried; I've stopped looking since I got these. This is my second Mixcder purchase, the first was their TR008 Bluetooth receiver / transmitter which is great too. I'm starting to think of them as a decent brand.

Good budget ANC headphones.
I'll quickly go through the unboxing experience. It's a standard experience. It is on par with what you expect at this price range. It does have everything u would generally want though. Now the actual headphones. Let's start with the active noise cancelling feature. Mixcder have made a good effort I think. This most definitely isn't anything to challenge the premium ANC headphones but it does cancel out low frequency noise. So you can still the sound of people talking and a bit of traffic noise at a lower level. What this does mean is that you won't need to turn up the volume as high as you would otherwise. In an office environment it would cut out most of the background noise like the sound of computers and air conditioning. I have to say I didn't realise how loud these things were until I put these headphones on.Tonally the headphones sound noticeably different with the ANC on versus it being off. When it's off the headphones sound muffled. When ANC is on the midrange and highs are boosted and significantly less muffled. In both cases the bass is on the weak side. Overall I would just have the ANC on all the time. Its also worth mentioning that in the past ANC headphones like the Bose QC35 have put an uncomfortable amount of my pressure on my ear drums but it's not the case here. The build quality here is good. It doesn't feel like anything is going to fall apart after a week. I've had other pairs of Mixcder headphones and they've lasted a couple of ears and then usually broken by myself. The headphones are over ear but the cups may be on the small side. They just fit my ear and I've worn them for a couple of hours without any discomfort. The foam is firm but from previous experience I expect this to soften with wear.Battery life is good. So far I've charged it a bit on the day I got it but I don't think to full. I only charged it for about half an hour and I have been using it lightly for 4 days now (an hour a day).It may be worth noting that if you turn the ANC on there a little blue LED that lights up. However this LED stays on even when u turn the bluetooth connection off.So to sum up I think this is a decent pair of ANC headphones. I would prefer something with a bit more bass but it's not a deal breaker for me. I would still consider this an upgrade over my previous Mixcder headphones. At this price range I don't have an issue recommending it.
