Terminus Optics SLR1 4-12x50EG SFP Illuminated Optics Sight Mil-Dot BDC Reticle First Focal Plane Holographic Electro-Dot Scope Combination Finger Turret Elevation & Windage Adjustment

Not a big fan of cheap optics but I figured I’d give this a try. I was looking for a good scope for my 10/22 and I just built a 10.5 in AR pistol and wanted a reflex sight to put on it. I am an Infantry vet with Tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and a Police Officer with over 20 years experience so I am no expert but I do know how to be tough with gear and know what I like.So far I have not tried the scope and only used the reflex sight. The reflex sight is mounted on the scope rails in all the pictures so I took a chance it wasn’t a permanent mount and bought the set hoping I would get two scopes for the price of one. Scope arrived in two days and immediately mounted the reflex sight to the AR pistol. I sighted it in with 62 GR Federal green tip in 5.56. Love the beaver tail option to change the different crosshairs and settled on the dot as it seemed the lowest light level and I got the best sight picture that didn’t overide the target using that. Once sighted in I was doing 10 round groups at 25 yards in a 2 inch circle. I tried a few times with cold barrels with the same result. It will be interesting to see how it holds it’s zero in the next few weeks taking it in and out of my car. This isn’t a fighting sight and I will stick to my EOTech for my patrol rifle as I know I can bang it around and it’ll hold it’s zero. I keep the AR pistol in a padded case so I feel comfortable it won’t get banged around too hard and is a Just In Case gun I hope I will never have to use except for fun. I will update in a month or so to see how it held its zero after multiple trips in and out of the vehicle. Definitely worth the money so far and I am impressed in the package. I would have paid the money just for the reflex sight so the scope is an added bonus. It’s definitely 5 stars when it’s placed side by side with reflex sights in the comparable price range. I will definitely check out other optics by Terminus Optics and will update the review as I go along and once I mount the scope to a rifle.
