Great, but not bus proof
Right when I got it, the bolts on the wheels were a bit tight, but a bit of adjusting did just the trick. I really like this board because it's small and light, and easy to carry around, much less of a hassle on the bus. I weigh in at about 200 lbs, standing in the middle gave it quite a bend but no signs of failure. I would say I can almost go as fast on this as on a full size board, but its still way faster than walking. I would recommend previous experience on something bigger before hopping onto this board. I've ridden larger boards for a couple of years and it took me about a week to get used to this thing. I should note that the small wheels don't handle cracks and bumps in the sidewalk as well as bigger wheels do, and that might cause you problems. I was in a hurry to catch a bus, and over a rough patch I lost control of the board. It kept on cruising, right under the wheel of a city bus, which pulverized it into several pieces. Needless to say, I missed that bus. I would have felt bad if not for how cheap this board was, and I bought a new one the very next day. Four out of five stars for not being bus proof.Pros- affordable, small and light, appears well built, easy to carry, looks cool to rideCons- may be difficult to get used to, coworkers might give you crap, not bus proof

Bought it for someone else, too convenient, kept it for college commuting! Will buy another one later
I really like this penny board for this price. You have to adjust the trucks and wheels right when you get it because everything is so tight but once you do that it is great!I am a college student and use this to get around campus. It works fine in the bike lanes and sidewalks. Larger bumps will mess you up. You can not go over the same cracks and bumps like a regular longboard (of course). It is convenient and easy to carry. You don't have to worry about people stealing it since you carry it into class. And even if someone really wants it, it is not that expensive to replace.I have been using it for a couple weeks and I can see some wear on it but nothing to substantial. This was actually a test to see if this would be a good fit for my brother who needs one to take onto planes without checking it in specially (like casey neistat). I liked it so much I am keeping this one and will get him a new one!Final thoughts. This is a very good entry level penny board if you don't want to spend too much on an actual penny board.Hope this helps!

Great customer service
Having never ridden a skateboard in the past, I wanted to try a small board as a new form of transportation. I wanted something reliable and easy to carry that also expressed a little bit of style. With that, I ordered this board and I am glad that I did. After using it for a while, here is my experience:The board has been great. As a beginner, the board was easy to learn on and is small enough to be considered easy to transport/carry. The colors compliment one another very well and I have received several compliments on it. The wheels and trucks have held up very well with minimal maintenance. After moderate use, it did end in splitting as other reviews have mentioned. Although it had split, eightbit customer service was more than happy to deal with the situation and graciously provided a replacement. They were very easy to deal with and expressed a true appreciation for customer satisfaction. Strong customer service behind a good product has resulted in a happy customer. If you have a good product backed by even better customer service, your product is no longer good, it is great. I would happily purchase another one of these in the future and I highly recommend the board as a form of simple, inexpensive transportation.

in my opinions it seems to cruise for a good amount of time before you have to kick again ...
Before I begin let me say that i am 5 6" and weigh about 210 IT HOLDS ME lol and I'm also 19I'm by no means a skater/cruiser (although i did own a skateboard for a year) type of person one of the main reasons i got this is because I broke my bike and needed something to get around campus with. I just got it today(Jan 15, 2015 ) and went up and down my block at first it was a little weird because the board is kinda narrow, but you get used to it real quick. in my opinions it seems to cruise for a good amount of time before you have to kick again (should i change the bearings to better ones?). Overall I'm very happy with this board, when i use it to get around school for a week or two ill do another update. and after a month or 2 ill give my final verdict. but I'm pretty confident with saying that this board is great for younger kids to start with ( i guess again i don't know much about boards) especially since it was VERY CHEAP (pride wise i got it for $35 )OK so now it is moths later it is December 15, 2015 I don't use my board anymore because I have a car now but i can say this. for the amount of time i had it i used it a lot. never did i have an issue with it besides the bearing not being the best, but still got eh job done for me. I would still absolutely recommend this to anyone that wants to start off using small cruiser. A great alternative to the more expensive penny board. One thing i will say is if you plan on using this a lot ( and are in the heavier side) do yourself a favor and buy new washer?( i think thats what they are called) the rubber thingies that go on the turning point of the trucks. because they tend to wear out and can become very loose.other than that great product would definitely say BUY it . :)

Fun!
Love this thing! Very fun to ride. Easier to learn than a regular skateboard. If this is your first skateboard, I recommend you ride it the way it is out of the box for a while, until you get used to pushing and just being on the board. When you get comfortable with that, loosen the trucks with the tool provided and it will make your board much easier to turn, but slightly more unstable. As for the glow in the dark feature--it's ok. It's not that bright, but it is noticeable. When I skate at night, the street lights overpower the glowing feature, so most of the time the board just looks white. The wheels are not as brightly colored as in the picture. They are more of a dull purply pink. Get the deck color that you like best. You can easily change out the wheels for a color you like better.

Good beginner board. Hampered by bearings.
LowDown:Good board for first timers. Cheap. Solid board construction. Bad quality bearings. The Good:Half the price of a true Penny board. Actual board quality seems good and is holding up do far. The low quality bearings (see the bad part below) actually makes this board easier to control and safer for first time riders like my son. However he's already needing a better quality board that will glide longer. The bad:Board is as advertised I suppose but my Abec 5 bearings my rollerblades spin for 30+ seconds on their own. Tested a brand name Penny board and the wheels spin freely as well for about 20-30 sec. These "higher" rated bearings spin for a second or two on their own. Bad bearing/wheel quality I guess. Board does not glide long on it's own.

Not sure if this is better than the Penny or Skatro board...
I've never tried the much-pricier Penny board so I can't compare but it's a ton of fun. Like others mentioned make sure you loosen the truck a little bit.Two things I didn't like too much:(1) Lack of color selection (although I don't mind Nova/Fury too much).(2) The tool that comes in the box cannot loosen the truck so I had to buy a wrench (rival company Skatro's board comes with the "T-Tool" that can handle both the wheels and the truck).

Great Board
This Eightbit 22-Inch Complete Skate Board is great for people under 150 pounds. I'm 110 and it works well but still bends a little under me. Its fun and you can do tricks on it. The colours are just like in the picture, I got the green one and people always give me compliments on the colouring. Even with use the yellow wheels are still yellow and don't attract too much dirt at all.The reason for 4 stars and not five is just the fact that I'm worried it might snap under me one day even though it should be safe for my weight. The wheels are well oiled and once a little loosened it goes very fast. The shipment came on time and there were no problems with the seller. The packaging was good as well.I definitely recommend this skateboard for anyone who wants to start but don't want to make a huge investment, the price is great for it!

I would definitely recommend this as an alternative to some of the more ...
I read a lot of reviews before deciding on this board. The board feels strong, steady and of quality materials (for something that is made of a plastic deck). I was afraid it would feel cheap but it does not. The deck has a bit of flex to it, but I think that is the point. I have not taken it outside for a spin yet but have been riding it around my house and it feels fast. The shipping was much faster than the estimated arrival date. I would definitely recommend this as an alternative to some of the more expensive ones!
