Meadowsweet Raw Herb

I'm very impressed!! As sold by Moon Magick brand, this meadowsweet is perfect!! They were out of stock where I usually buy my herbs so I crossed my fingers and ordered from this vendor. It is excellent quality and works miracles for IBS-D! Meadowsweet is like short acting Imodium but is all natural and doesn't have the negative side effects of Imodium (e.g. constipation). I would not recommend this for "regular" diarrhea since it is likely that you need to have it to get out what ever toxins has caused the diarrhea...but for anyone who has chronic diarrhea due to a medical problem and not an infection, virus or food poisoning...this works like magic!! I use it in a decoction: 2 tsp. of herb boiled for 10 seconds and then simmered for 20 minutes in 16oz of water with the lid off. When it is done there should be about 8oz of liquid give or take. Strain out the herb and drink for a quick remedy. The taste is fine. although i did not know if it was actually food grade quality i risked it is brewed up nicely into a deep rich flavored tea. nice sweet earthy flavor paired well with some cookies and white wine surprisingly
