Worst. Do not buy.
Impossible to feed the wire into these. There is no channel to guide the wires so no matter how smooth flat and straight you make your wires they get all bunched up and crossed over. I’ve punched thousands of fittings and I’ve never found it impossible like I did with this garbage. Cost me a days work. Time is money and these were a huge waste of both.

Pass through crimp
Might have just been me but it seems I spent more time trying to get the wires into this pass through plug, once in it I was able to pull the rest of the cable without much problem but I feel like it took longer than the older plugs. I like the idea and the crimpers worked great. It may be I use 23 and 24 gauge wire and a smaller would certainly work better. FYI 23 gauge will not fit.

Nearly Impossible to get a working cable with these - don't buy
I’m pretty meticulous and I took my time inserting the wires into the connectors, but every one I’ve tried so far ends up having at least one wire fail when I test it. I never got a cable that completely works. BTW, I bought another brand (Ideal from Lowes) that has real channels for the wires and every single cable I've made with the Ideal brand connectors has worked.

These connectors sure worked great
Easy to install & easy to make sure your wires are in the right place before crimping. Saves you money by checking your work crimp than trim excess wire and plug in. Had my wires fixed in no time. These should be the standard in connections. Saves time getting it right.

Why These Connectors Don't Work
The connector on the left is the "FiberFields" connector which fails about 75% of the time in my experience. The cables tend to slip and pins don't crimp right.The connector on the right is a "Platinum Connect" connector, it has well defined passthrough holes and works all the time.Don't waste your money here. Spend a little more money and save yourself the frustration and embarrassment...

Better and easier
What I like is it way more easy to use these that pass through than the others that you into the connector. Easier to see the wires and see the colors than the others that you can not see all that well!

Damn near impossible to feed right. Can't fit shielded cat6 cable.
These are just awful to work with. Maybe with cat5e or something smaller than cat6, but they have no channels to keep the wires straight going in and they don't fit the shielded insulation. I wouldn't waste my money with these.

Great for making your own patch cables
The pass-through cable ends makes mistake-free cables super easy. I just got these and have a project I'm working on for my daughter. These make that tedious job so much easier!
