Exactly What I Needed
My wife enjoys Netflix and still enjoys her Wii, while I still enjoyed my older TV. But when Netflix announced it would no longer support the Wii, we knew that at least one of us would have to change with the times. So in the spirit of a happy marriage, we made the usual compromise; I changed ;->, and we planned to buy a new TV. But none of the newer TVs have 3 wire component connections, so we still had the problem of the Wii not connecting to the TV. So I started searching for a component-to-HDMI gender bender This product had good reviews, and I bought it. It was truly very easy to connect, and works surprisingly well. The picture coming from the Wii is a little grainy, especially after having watched the HDR picture on our new 4k TV, but that is not due to any problem or deficiency in this product. I recommend this product to anybody connecting a Wii to a new TV via HDMI connection. And I expect it will work just as well when connecting other 3 wire component connections. (NOTE: this is for a 3 wire component-to-HDMI connection only! Make sure whether you need a 3 wire or a 5 wire connection.)

It Works!
Well obviously it works, that's what it was made to do.I had to buy this converter because my new TV was manufactured wrong, the video port is inside of the TV housing, and has little tabs which will not allow a video cable to fully plug in, completely useless! The company claims it is damage that's not covered by a warranty, so here I am purchasing a composite converter because I have the urge to pull out my old GameCube.I am happy with the Kuyia converter, the price was excellent and it does the job well.I just realized I have it on 720p, so I have yet to see if 1080p will be any better. The picture is good but not excellent, but reviews on other brands makes it seem like there isn't one out there that will have a perfectly crisp image, so there is some graininess to the image if there's a lot of stuff going on in the game, or a lot of motion.

Works perfect for N64 on 4K smart TV
Works exactly how I expected it to. At first it was getting no signal, but after some finagling with the connections, it worked perfectly. Only reason I’m not rating it 5 stars is that the USB power is not what I was expecting, and is fairly inconvenient. A normal DC adapter would have been better. But for the price, you can’t beat it! I see similar devices selling for $30 or $40 dollars, and this does what you need.

Too low of quality for my taste
I should have known better at this price but I purchased this anyway. I needed to transfer some mini DV tapes and thought this might work but the low quality of the resultant video it put out was far too low for my taste. I ended up buying a Firewire card and bringing in the DV videos without any degradation. Maybe this would be OK for those transferring old VHS tapes that already look like crap. Then you may not notice the low quality.

works nice
Rather than run a composite cable to a new TV, I chose to use this and an HDMI cable. It's been on 22/7 for 4 weeks and has been working great and I'm happy with purchase. While it's true that composite video on the larger TVs really doesn't look that great, this unit did not add any distortion and it really simplified the cable run to the TV. It's well worth the price.

Patience required but functional.
Worked for an old N64. It took some playing around with the cords and restarting a lot. Tricky, but it works.

Satisfied
I have been trying to figure out for over a year how to convert my N64 to my 4K HDMI TV. With this device, I was finally able to accomplish that. The quality is a little fuzzy and it kind of glitches out from time to time. But overall it was well worth it.

Two days of fun then nothing :(
Product worked for two days then stopped. Unfortunately by the time I found out it was not working any longer it was past the return date :(. The concept was great just wish it lasted. Hard to play my favorite old school games now.
