Minor Prophets 1 (LifeChange)

I have done several of these LifeChange bible study books, and I think they're great. They ask very good questions that help you go deeper into the Word. They also have a lot of "For further study" options and suggestions for application. They also have useful, not not too much, background information and help with the meaning of key words or phrases. It's the best "fill in the blank" bible study book I've ever done, and I've done a lot of them.

Using for bible study. Easy to follow and hepful to keep on track.

Great study and informative.

This is easy to follow, but the Old Testament is just hard to understand in general. This makes it a bit easier to digest.

Using this for personal study and to teach Sunday School. The basic questions pretty much stick to the text and there are questions on the side which allow you to go further and look at different scriptures that add richness to your study.I really enjoy the Life Change series.

first book from the Navigators- and I am not sold on their style. Nor is our bible study leader.I got the Kindle version - so I can make my responses to the questions on the notes feature. It works well - but I think that Kindle gets the credit for that. I take my laptop to bible study with me and have the Bible App open next to the book. I click back and forth.I am used to a study bible, and while the entire class is using this book, it seems to be lacking vs my (paper) study bibles. Little insight. Lots of questions. No indication of what their answer is.Some questions have been labeled as 'stupid' by our study leader - and we skip over them.This is my first study of the Minor Prophets and this book seems to lack the list of the books - the why question and context and the reaction to the prophecy isn't addressed.Maybe this is Navigator style - but it seems to be a very diluted approach.

Interesting. Lots to do. Not for casual devotions but serious students.
