this is one of those gadgets that I am happy I found. I have a housemate who insists on baking but drips everything all on the base of the oven. Guess who has to clean it up? I would highly recommend this as a simple, useful tool to catch the overflow, let air circulate under your pies, even cakes. and it keeps things from burning onto the oven floor. such a simple idea, yet it takes away big headaches, if you like to bake and cook like I do.

My friend's grandfather made me one of these out of metal years ago so that I could bake him a pie without it spilling all over my oven. Needless to say after years of use it was beginning to show it's age. So how could I replace it? Amazon. I not only use it to bake pies, but for my frozen pot pies. They fit perfect in the hole in the center. Wrap the pastry edges with aluminum foil and you get a nice crispy crust put it in the oven, NOT the microwave. Enjoy.

I love the ease of cleaning this as well as the amount of aluminum foil saved for not having to cover my oven rack.I wished I had discovered it years ago. Definitely recommended it to my other baking friends!!!

I was a little skeptical at what my pie would turn out like. I read so many mixed reviews of half baked pies. But I made a tomato pie and normally near the end it spits all over my oven. This time I put the pie drip guard in half way through since that is about when it start to happen. It worked great. My tomato pie looks just like it always did. Plus with the non stick coating it cleaned up so nicely with just soapy water. I am so glad my neighbor told me about this. Great investment!

Despite this being an expensive pan with expensive shipping, the pan is dented, does not sit flat, and some of the black paint on it is scratched off. I will not be purchasing from this seller again. I do not recommend this product.

These are the best thing ever - they prevent mess in oven and the fact they are nonstick makes cleanup a breeze.

I like the size.Its also very easy to wipe up spills that have burnt on.I do wish it was a sturdier material.I feel i have to support the bottom when i move it.It feels a bit unstable with any casserole or well filled pieplate.
