It makes a very sturdy kickstand when that's what you want, or an easy-to-hold handle, secure enough to take those action shots when you're hanging dangerously over the side of the boat -- and all without having to worry about your legacy of butterfingerdness. Then to top it off, the flipper fits easily into the car's heater vent, where it holds securely, despite my husband's proclivity for driving ala formula five racing on the freeway! Genius device, it's invisible when you don't need its talents, and disappears into my pocket with ease. I will admit, I was very sceptical about this case. I never thought it would stay in my vent in my jeep. While I can not put it in the center vents because of the shape of my vents and can put it on the vent bu the door. I have used it for almost a mo th now and it has never fallen. As far as the protection from breaking if dropped. I have dropped my phone a few times and it has not broken. I am not convinced that this case is invincible and that if dropped just right my phone would shatter. All things considered, I like the case. Would have like a screen protector with it but still happy. Bought a 2nd one for my sons iPhone as well.

I like the clear casing so that I can actually show off my phone. It doesn't hide my color like most cases do. I also like the fact that I can use the kickstand to prop my phone standing up or laying it in its side! The grip feature on the side of the case isn't bad either. I caught this case on sale 29.99 during Christmas time. It was originally 49.99 and had been that price for a while. I was so happy that the price dropped and I was able to snag it at this price!

I'm on my 3rd wingman for my note 9. They do a really good job protecting my phone when I drop it, so far no damage to my phone with any drop! The first one went bad when it dropped with the kickstand out and the kickstand wouldn't go back in. Second time the inside of the kickstand started breaking off in pieces and the top part covering the phone broke from the rest of the cover. Each one I've had for 2 years before replacing. I would give 5 stars if they found away to keep these from turning yellow.

Great design and solves several problems. I can easily mount it in my car, I can stand it both vertical and horizontal and put it back down for a slim profile. I hope it helps my phone withstand falls. I will update once it has been through a few.

I really liked this phone case. Looks great and the "click-stand" is really cool. However, after only using it for a couple of weeks, the plastic casing on the stand started to crack. I expected it to last much longer. The clear case on its own is nice and has a good feel. I hate to rate it low because of one faulty part, but I have to replace it now, so it gives me no value.

They break easy. The rubber around the base crumbles.

The case itself has protected my Note 9 for 3 years without nary a crack. I've dropped it countless times or accidentally banged it against surfaces without any consequences. Also like the fact that I can hook the kickstand into CD player in car and it hangs. However, the kickstand doesn't last long. I bought my first case when I bought my phone at the AT&T store. Almost a year later, the kickstand was stuck in the deployed mode and would not fold flat. Skooch replaced it but it happened again a year later. Now that my phone is "old," I saw this case was less than $10 on Amazon so I purchased it. But within days, the soft plastic on the kickstand started cracking and falling off bit by bit. Product probably has outlived its shelf life.

My biggest gripe about this case is that you can't wireless charge with it due to the bulky stand set up on the back. I really like the engineering for the stand, it works great, but without wireless charge, what's the use?
