Ortega GuitarsStomp Box Series Guitar Looper Effects Pedal w/Built-in Percussion Samples, Brown (QUANTUMLOOP)

Kudos to Ortega Guitars and their Quantum Loop. The first one I received had a defect.. In two days they replaced it. Great stomp box sounds and a looper.

Was very excited to get this pedal for use at my acoustic shows. Didn't get far enough to really test out the Looper side, because the drum kick side didn't work. It was intermittent, and sometimes didn't pick up at all. When it did pick up, volume all the way up, you really had to STOMP on it to hear it. If you're running it through another channel and could turn up the volume maybe that would work, but it defeats the point of the In/Out and the Looper side of the pedal. Called Amazon customer service and sending back for a refund. I'm trying to decide I will order another in hopes that it was just a fluke, but part of me just thinks ordering two separate pedals from another manufacturer would be better.

I so wanted to love this product, but finally had to give up on it. Tried it with every kind of shoe I could find, sometimes it triggers, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it even plays the wrong sound, or switches sounds between the two pedals. Tried in vain many times to reach Ortega, to see if I'm doing something wrong, but no use. Save yourself a lot of heartache and don't buy it.

I requested, and received the Quantum Looper for Christmas.THE Good ... multple sound effects. With extra foot peddle you can play two at a time. Looper makes even more possible.THE BAD: ... You can't get it to work barefoot. You can't get it to work with a tennis shoe. You can't handhold it and get it to work thumping your thumb. It thumps about 1 out of 4 or 5 times. It will work with a solid soled dress shoe ... most of the time ... with a solid shoe thump.THE UGLY: ... I sent 5 emails asking if the unit had a sensativity setting or was just a dud product? NOT ONE SINGLE RESPONSE OVER THE THREE WEEK PERIOD!!!End result: ... I will be returning the $300 unit to Amazon due to NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!

Extremely dissatisfied with this. First of all “Ortega” makes these stomp boxes to work with the mini side boxes (horse kick,ect) they both work separately but when you put them together, AS MANUFACTURERS designed it... it’s un responsive, delayed, and doesn’t loop correctly. I returned the first set and purchased a new one.... same problem. Trash ass equipment which is so sad because there isn’t much out there like this I was hopeing it would work.

Product is basically unusable, doesn’t register foot taps with any consistency

Although the built in sounds are great sounding and realistic and the concept is amazing, this pedal was a big waste of money. The loop feature is unresponsive and much too slow to process you can't start or stop a loop the same time you tap a beat?! This loop can not compete with any looper like TC electronics or Boss. As for the triggered sounds, they get mixed up and lose synch with the actual foot tap when using the expanded trigger pedal and alternating a rhythm back and fourth. The LED lights went out within a month and this pedal has just taken a beating compared to any other pedal I own, The battery compartment broke, the velcro footpad ripped off. I would not recommend this and wish I could just get my money back.
