I ordered this and thought the delivery was extremely slow. I should have expected based on the fact it shipped from China. Still it lives up to my expectations. The seller was great at communicating the delivery delay with me when I asked. Even though I wasn't originally expecting it to take three months I am glad I waited.Now about the price and product! I paid around $15 and believe me there were other options that had more cons than pros. This LED strip is intended to light my otherwise dark hallway leading towards stairs. The other key requirement was that it would connect to another strip of LEDs already installed on the stairs. This set allows me to use a motion sensor at both ends of the hallway. I expect to be able to adjust the duration of illumination for both strips, If it works as planned. Regardless I am ticking a lot of extra boxes.∆ I know I can discreetly hide the power supply in another room besides the hallway with the provided extension.∆ I will be able to replace individual components if either fails at any point.∆ The lights are bright but not bright white.YES : You can buy this LED strip from this seller.

Their length, motion sensor, and plug-in ability was perfect for what I was looking for. I ran an initial test to make sure I liked the color and immediately installed them in the inside of the door frame, hidden from view. Before installing, I cleaned and wiped down the mounting surface with alcohol wipes to make sure they had good adhesion. I was initially a little concerned about the tape on the LED strip because it seemed to pull away from the strip relatively easily, but that has not been an issue. I had a harder time removing the backing from the glue strip, but once I did, they mounted easily without any trouble. They provide an ample amount of light for my application and the color seems to be around the 5000K area, providing a nice white light. My only issue with these lights is the extreme sensitivity of the time duration on the adjustment wheel. You have the option to set the duration the lights stay on anywhere from 10 seconds to 15 minutes. In my application, 30 seconds would have been ideal, but I was unable to find a happy medium between 10 seconds and one minute. I ended up going with the 10 seconds option, but would’ve preferred more variability between those two options. I did not test anything longer than one minute.Overall I am very pleased with these lights. I’m looking forward to seeing how long they last.

I wanted to test the product out before I installed so I connected everything together and it turned on. adjusted the timer and reset the unit by unplugging the power to the sensor. reconnected turns on and then turns off. Good so far. Then tried to test the motion sensor and it would not turn on. re set it a few more times still noting. Was getting ready to return it and red some of the 5 star reviews and one person had mentioned that it needs total darkness to work. tried the test with all the room lights off and presto it works. It would be nice to have even a small guide included in the package so that we don't have to experiment before figuring out that it is not defective. Installed in the closet and works beautifully. puts out a lot of light. Turns on on motion and off after the timer expires.

Changing my review. I tested in the daytime with the lights on. It came on when plugged in. Then ran 1 time when motion. Then never again. BUT.....if in a darkened room, it works well. I am hopeful that it will continue to work. It is not much money to try it out, but was annoying that it did not have instructions.Make sure have the power and LED lights in the correct ports on the PIR, or else it will always be on.the thumb wheel does have marks for how long the lights will stay on.Initially started a return, but I have cancelled that am am hopeful that it works for awhile.

Lights came in a busted box but strip was in a sealed bag. The problem was the PIR controller. It would usually turn on but stay on about 10 minutes no matter what the adjustment. It would then turn off and stay off until you reset the power. I needed this for a project and now I have to go through a return. Not worth it.

The LEDs are standard.. no complains there but the PIR sensor is useless.. it randomly turns on/triggers.. can't figure out how to remove the whole thing from wall so can't return.. it's quite annoying to have lights turn on randomly... I really needed this to work!

Put these in a food pantry and wow did it light it up. Door opens, lights come on. You can set the timer to keep on for personal preference.

Received today (2018/12/28), installed on my own 3M super-durable adhesive, everything arrived and works as expected, no hiccups, fair description and great value for the price.
