Stromberg Carlson S-150 Steel Platform Step

Honestly I can’t even recall the intended purpose for this step but I can tell you it works great for my needs. My senior dog can’t jump up on the bed anymore and I tried a few other steps that didn’t work. This one works great. Very sturdy, and quite heavy which is good so it’s not going to slide around. Has rubber grips on the legs, easily adjustable and slides under my bed when not in use. I think the cost is fair because it feels like solid quality. I wanted something versatile that could be used outside of my senior dogs needs.It is a lot heavier than I thought it would be so not something you want to move around frequently. More of a set it and forget it item. Lastly, my dog is 80lbs and the anti slip traction grips on the surface are also really nice.

Perfect extra step for the RV… saves a lot on my knees coming in and out. Great size and sturdiness.

I wanted the model P102 but it appears the manufacturer discountinued that step..it had the plastic top but same otherwise. I ordered this one as the top was only thing different and price on this was half what the older model sold for. I'm happy with it for sure but had to buy peel and stick rubber mat to cover the top because non slip sand paper on top was to aggressive for my dogs feet and being all metal it gets extremely hot in the sun and would burn their paws. I ended up covering the rubber matting again with a carpet step cover because it got slick when wet so I did have to adapt it twice and spend more money to make it work for my needs. I wish they would make the previous plastic top they had sold in the past because it had small grid work in the design that allows rain water to run through it and this model is solid flat steel that has no holes to allow the water to run through it which seems odd. The verdict is still out whether I'm keeping it long term or not. It depends on my modifications on the top that will decide it for me. If they last and I don't have to to redo them often I'm good but if they don't hold up I'll return the step because without my modifications it is unusable for my dogs. I'd love to know if the manufacturer has any old models in a warehouse somewhere I can trade this ok me for or at least swap the top out.update***definitely returning the step. The legs do not lock in place and twice on bumpy ground one or more of the legs has collapsed n closed and step than feel. Poor design all the way around. Just moving it slightly to set it out causes legs to collapse.

This step is the perfect size for our motor home.The best thing about the step is you can use it with the step legs extended or without.Great heavy duty product and totally worth the price.We will be using this for many years to come!!

Bought this only back in January. Noticed a couple months ago that it had a slight dip approximately 1" in from the outside edge. Barely noticeable. Now it has become very noticeable. Water will definitely pool up on it. Only a matter of time before it collapses.

This is the perfect RV step. It is wide enough to fit even the largest feet and very stable. I had been looking for years for just the right size step and this is it. I know it costs a little more than others but believe you will not be disappointed. I actually first saw this step at an RV manufacturing plant I was touring. It is a must have for RVers.

We flipped the axels on our RV and needed a new step. This size is perfect. It's really big. NOT those 1' foot small steps.

Used it for 1st step on my new trailer as it is quite high.Worked perfect very pleased with its craftmanship

Very sturdy and a bit heavy, all good, but the legs do not lock and if bumped fold allowing stool to collapse. As this was a major safety issue I returned the product.
