handle broke and hard to open and close.can still use though.

I was looking for an old style mop handle...the spring is tight and holds the towels...I use old towels and cut them up just for this...the one I had which was about 20 years old just broke and was looking for another...this is just what I wanted...so glad to have found an excellent one to replace it...

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars on “ easy to use”. Is because the spring is so tight I can barely open it. And I’m afraid if it ever snapped shut in my fingers they would definitely be injured.It’s like working with a mad alligator.

I like this mop because my mom always had one like it when I was a child. I like that you can use old rags in it. I was disappointed, however, because the black part that holds the rag is made out of plastic instead of metal, so I'm afraid it may not last long. The spring is very tight and I am hoping this may loosen up after time.

My mother (aged 88) had been looking for an "old fashioned" mop like they used when she was growing up that could be used with rags. After telling me several times I decided to see what she was talking about and see what I could find. I found this and sent it off to her. She loves it! She said that new mops give her a backache to use, but she claims this one doesn't. Not sure what the difference would be, but I'm glad she is using this now instead of mopping the kitchen floor on her hands and knees like she has been.

Was exactly what I was wanting, sturdy no fuss mop handle. Nothing extra to buy, use old rags to clean floors.

It too small, i wouldn't buy it
