Carrera Digital 132 GT Power Race Set

great set, if you have never tried digital slot cars you need to! you can run 6 cars (with some upgrades) at a time on a 2 lane track. you can change lanes on command (at lane change peices) and even set "jam cars" or cars that just run at a speed you set and randomly change lanes on their own. this makes for some fun and challenging passin action. i have combined a few sets and am running 1/24 cars (requires 1/24 power converter) and having six on the track at once is crazy fun! if you love slot cars or any kind of racing you will absolutly love these digital slot cars.

Love the cars and track accessories (guard rails ext..), however the track is not the 29 ft. layout but a 22 ft. one. Also the manufacturer note implied that you get a lap counter which you don't. The black box(control unit) is not the current one included in carerra's currents sets and this set is discontinued. Therefore when I ordered a lap counter it was not compatible and I'm waiting now for the vendor to contact me to tell me what I need.

The first set I sent back as it arrived with one controller not working. The second set worked a few weeks of use when the lane change feature stopped working. We were not rough, nor neglectful of the set -mind you. Dealing with Carerra warranty and sending the section back for replacement, they sent us the same section back, in a taped up box.At this point I must state that the Carrera toy company is nothing more than a scam. How dare a company sell a reasonably expensive toy and have such quality issues and lack of support.The look of disappointment on my son's face is engrained in my memory.Employed in the automotive industry, I will warn others of the shady business that unfortunately goes hand in hand with a great marketing ploy.

I know it is pricier than your average hotwheel slot car set, but,very nice. the cars have very high detail and scale appears to be very accurate. Lots of options to expand. If price is not a problem, this is worth it. Would recommend. My son is 6 years old and he can control the speed, no problem. Even my 4 y/o nephew can run it safely with the car set on beginer mode. I am looking forward to adding the pit stop lane and refueling controller thing.

This is a great set. The care are very detailed and look very cool. The running is fast with realistic performance. The cross-over tracks work perfectly even at high speed. Lots of fun.

Carrera products are certainly very high quality. Once you get a set, you will wonder why you did not buy one sooner!

How do I hate Carrera, let me count the ways ... no wait, that will take too long, let me summarizeTerrible instructionswritten in TINY TINY lettersand poorly illustratedno decent troubleshooting guide - I've spent $1000 and I have an expensive, poorly performing boat anchorno "how to" for designing track layoutno software tools for designing track layoutnothing explaining what a 1-60 versus 2-30 isonce you figure out the difference between 1-x and 2-x, nothing to explain what the actual corresponding radius isso that if you are good at math and have a lot of time on your hands you can figure it outand the track clips frequently fail to hold the track togetherokay, out of time ... once it is working it is no doubt fun for the dedicated hobbyist, but my children cried in frustration ... and I was ready todid I mention TERRIBLE instructions?

Will gar nicht viel Schreiben, nur das ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf bin.Wenn man die Codierung der Fahrzeuge verstanden hat und die Bahn auf Parkett regelmäßig sauber hält,(Saugen , Abwischen) funktioniert alles super!! Macht nicht nur den Kids viel Spass!! ;)Lieferung ebenfalls ohne Probleme.Tolles Geschenk zu Weihnachten. Danke.. weiter so..

Très bon article à tout point de vue. Pièces solides, voitures de très bonne qualité, excellente conception, électronique de haut niveau.Jouet passionnant pour les petits comme pour les grands.

Ein toller Spaß für groß und klein.Leider hat es indieser Größe nicht lange gehalten, da musste man noch 2-3 m Bahn verlängern 1-2 Autos dazukaufen, Spurwechsel, PositionsTower und Pitlane und die Bahn ist perfekt :)
