I initially decided on this mount because of the price tag, but became pleasantly surprised in how well it works in different situations. Originally, I just wanted to use it for landscape mode apps on my phone (Youtube, Digital Clock, certain games, etc) but found that it also because a handle or akin to a strap for holding the phone while lying in bed or traveling. The pivoting head tilts when you need it, but is stiff enough to stay put even with larger phones or moving you hand around when using it like a handle/strap. The are 3 stick-on mounting clips that let you use the stand in your car, or stuck to the side of your nightstand if you do not have room on the top surface for it.I've already order 2nd one for my son, as he was using mine while visiting and loved it. It's a very good buy, and well worth it!

Works great for iPhone 6 in both horizontal and vertical mount directions. Ordering 2 more.

Effectively build but make sure the magnets are properly placed in the centre of the phone case to ensure if stays put. If the phone is heavy then its not a good idea to use this.

I use this as a portable stand. It semi-folds and I can toss it in my purse to use at work or on vacation. Sturdy and hold the phone securely.

This has no way of holding any weight at all! I bought to put my cell phone on and it just falls over. If it had weights in the legs of it then it would have worked fine but I wasn’t able to use this product at all.

I have a vava magnet mount for my car and wanted something similar inside so I bought this. It's not as worry free as the vava. The magnet isn't super strong. It will hold, but the best way I've found to use the stand is to pick up and line it up perfectly with the magnet, then set them both down and level things out. Just setting the phone on it always ends up tilting the phone to one side or the other until a corner touches the stand or table. It only stays straight if the metal piece is dead center on the phone and if you place it dead center on the magnet also. With the vava I just put the phone anywhere *near* the magnet and it will grab my phone practically out of my fingers. So yeah, it works, but maybe I had my expectations too high. It looks nice and I like the mount piece that you can stick to something. I'm going to try one under a kitchen cabinet maybe if I can be sure the phone won't tilt/fall. There are three of the mount pieces, by the way, which I thought was pretty generous.

This is pretty short. I bought for my son and his phone is to big for portrait. probably my fault but . i would not buy again.

I really like this product. The magnet is pretty strong. The only issue is that my iPhone has a relatively thick plastic cover. I had use the adhesive patch at the top of the cover, which is ok. I highly recommend this product.
