Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Underwater Stick Vacuum

So during the first part of spring, all the old parts and up in my pool deck all through the screen. Sometimes the regular pool cleaner just can’t get them. So I purchased this pool vacuum. And in my opinion it works very well. Suction may not be the strongest in the world but it’s picked up everything I’ve needed it to. It’s easy to use. I have just about all Ryobi power tools so I could even use the four or six amp battery. For those who say the battery compartment leaked, sometimes the latches can be a little tricky to securely close, and clip on to the lid. Just make sure you always check it, because I’m pretty sure that’s what happened to all those people who said that the battery compartment leaked.If I had any kind of negative comment, first it would be about the latches on the battery lid. Seems like to me there could’ve been a better design so that mistakes would not be made. Be warned and don’t make the mistake I did. It is a little heavy. So if used in the pole out to its most outer links, and think you’re going to be able to pick it up to get over a rope or something of the sort, it will break your aluminum pole if it’s a cheapie. Just asked me I know. I now have a new pole.

Had this product for less than 3 months and it has stopped working. First couple of times I used it the vacuum worked great, then little by little it stopped picking up less and less debris like bugs, leaves and dirt. If I have used it 8 times that is too much and already is not working. Don’t buy and still waiting from the seller to see if I can get a replacement or refund.

Makes for small clean up easy.

Love the size, the fact that it comes with an 18volt and charger!!unimpressed with suction,,, I was expecting more power.3.5 stars

Unfortunately this item didn’t work for our pool, don’t know why, but it does not vacuum anything dirt or sand. Maybe we got a damaged one, don’t know. This was a disappointing purchase, have to return since it doesn’t work

I really like this product because my wife likes to use it! Supper easy, works well and it’s quick. We have a fairly large pool and this Ryobi product rips through the cleaning like nothing.

The biggest problem with this vacuum is that the filtering system isn't fine enough to retain the fine dust it collects and therefore re-deposits the dust in the pool. Sadly the vacuum is much too heavy to be very useful. Ryobi is a good company and I think they should go back to the designing tables, and then try to actually test the new product before they sell it. This is a product that many people need.
