SCHLAGEBE375 CAM 626 Touch Keyless Touchscreen Electronic Deadbolt Lock, Satin Chrome

I bought this when my old schlage keypad started getting the numbers rubbed off the numbers. This one is superior as it's not a rubber number to press and move around.The things I like about this lock are:-Battery lasts forever because it's not moving an actuator-You have to move the deadbolt - good for doors that are slightly misaligned!-not rubber keys-easy install-default secure pincodes-ability to remove all pre-programmed keycodes after you program your own in-light on top; handy!

You have to turn the handle to lock and unlock the door. I understand there's no wireless features but having to enter the code just to lock the bolt from the outside?!?! I have two other keyoad schlage locks and love them. THIS IS JUST A KEYPAD TO ENGAGE THE LOCKING KNOB. GARBAGE! I will be returning.

Works as it should and quality piece. That being said I do prefer the older one, with the larger bolt handle I had replaced.  Schlage BE365VCAM619 Camelot Keypad Deadbolt, Satin Nickel . The older one, which worked just fine for over 10 years and still does, (but family said the gold color was out of style), has a much more solid feel when throwing the bolt and it a lot easier to grab and twist. I moved the old one to the storage shed where it continues to work great.

Love this!! No more worries if the kids have their keys. Very easy to install. I installed and set up the lock myself!! I only had trouble with the strike plate on the opposite side of the door jam. It’s larger than the cut out that is already there. I need someone to chisel the cutout bigger for me. In the meantime my old strike plate works fine with it till I can get issue resolved.

I got this lock for one of our outside doors because I thought my 8th grade son would find it easier to remember a code than he would to keep up with a key. A bonus - multiple codes can be programmed for different users. So I can create a number that each kid will remember, the grandparents, workers in the house (which can then be deleted).It was also very easy to install.

After installing the lock didn’t work

It was great for about a month, and then it just died. Changed batteries, checked wires, no dice. Do not recommend.

Easily installed by our handyman. Instructions for passcodes, temporary passcodes, locking from outside when leaving home etc are so very easy to follow. We have used it for a few weeks now and are considering this type of lock for our other doors. Does not have wireless command link which would be a huge plus. Despite that deficit, for security and ease of use, can strongly recommend.

No me gustó que no es 100% estándar al barreno de la chapa de la puerta, hay que ajustar para montar. Una vez montado y alineado, a disfrutar es muy cómodo.
