Good Stuff
I bought PanOxyl on a whim in a state of desparation. My (adult) acne has been getting out of control and I needed something that would provide results. I have been using this about every other day for a month now and here is what I have experienced...First off, it doesn't dye your skin, your hair or your towels. I use it in the shower so I can apply it and rinse it off completely without worry. It took about a week for me to notice any results (but that's better than waiting a whole month right?) My current acne started to reduce redness and irritation. My skin, particularly on my forehead was less oily but one major CON to this, is it WILL dry out sensitive areas of the skin. For me, it was around my mouth and chin. Very dry, chapped, irritated skin for about 5 days. Aweful. To remedy this, I simply stopped applying the PanOxyl to my mouth/chin area and continued to use it in the problem areas, and about 3 times a day would moisturize the irritated are. Worked like a charm and I'm back to normal.Overall, this stuff is great. It does what it is supposed to. Just know what areas of your skin are sensitive. The areas that are usually dry and flaky, avoid those areas. Or just use it every other day or so. It worked very well for me and I feel much better not having to hide my acne blemished face.

Shows good results. Try it. :)
I have been using this product for amost 3 weeks now. This product has really helped clear my adult acne. I was skeptical at first, but after 4-5 days it started showing good results. I was using acnecide wash (5%) before I started this product and it really dried up my skin but Panoxly 4% creamy wash does not dry my skin .I use it only once a day during shower.I start by using Cetaphil cleanser , massage it lightly for less than a minute then wash it off. Then I apply Panoxyl 4% creamy wash on the affected area (i.e jawline, chin and around mouth area) massage it for 2 mins and wash it off. After 15 mins I apply Cetaphil moisturising lotion. My face has not cleared completely but I am positive it will, in few weeks.I keep getting occasional acne here and there on my face but Panoxyl takes care of it.I will keep updating about this product.Update - 18 August 2016My skin has completely cleared now .Thanks to this face wash. :)

Great for acne, but use with care!
I'm 36 and struggled with acne for 25 years now. What works best for me is a benzoyl peroxide wash once per day (typically night, after makeup removal), and salicylic acid wash as an exfoliator the other wash (morning). I use a 1.0 retinol 3x per week now, for fine lines and scarring, which is why I stick to a 4% - to avoid excessive peeling. I encourage all friends - especially teens - to try this cleanser because it quickly takes care of the acne bacteria and prevents breakouts. It's a foamy wash so a little bit goes a long way. I think it does still bleach towels despite a reformulation but it's a small price to pay for clearer skin. NOTE: when you start a cleaner like this for the first time, you may actually break out worse because it is so effective at bringing out all the bacteria and acne-sebum. Be patient and gentle, it will go away! If you use the 4% for more than 6 months and find breakouts aren't completely eliminated or dramatically reduced then I suggest the 10%. It's too harsh for me at this point in my life but I sure wish this stuff had been OTC when I was a teen!

It worked for my daughter's teenage acne.
Got this for my daughter who has teenage acne. The acne was very noticeable before. Combined with prescription Acanya, this worked much better than Proactive. Proactive is overpriced and didn't do ANYTHING for my daughter's acne. We even bought Proactive twice hoping the new version would be better, but it didn't work at all. I buy this PanOxyl regularly for her now and it is much less expensive and more effective than Proactive was for us. Parents, there are other products that contain 4-10% Benzoyl Peroxide that you should try that are much cheaper than Proactive. I feel like I wasted a lot of money on Proactive. If your child has an acne problem, get help from a dermatologist and ask about Acanya (it is prescription) and this Panoxyl. Unfortunately the dermatologist wasted time making us come for multiple visits and trying other products with side effects before telling us about this. Within a month of using both, we saw a difference in her skin. I felt like the dermatologist wanted to make at least $600 in visits before she told us something that would actually work.

Excellent, would highly recommend for people with acne
This product has saved me. I didn't have any acne my mid 20's so I was totally unaware of how to handle my new skin problem. This product was recommended to me and I am SO glad I tried it. Within just a few days, the worst of the acne began to dissipate. It took another couple of weeks for the bumps to become flat and then another 2 weeks or so for the red scars to completely go away. I use this product once daily at night as directed- gently scrubbing each area for 10-20 seconds. This allows the product to penetrate into your pores to get rid of the acne-causing bacteria. My skin is slightly dry after but is not ashy or cracked. I use a serum and the dryness is taken care of. Overall, I would highly recommend this product in this strength. Higher percentages may be very rough on the skin so you may want to try the 4% first to see how you react. I have drier skin as it is and this did not cause a problem for me
