Good for children and adults part 1.
Bought these for my nephew who is young and loves comic books, manga & graphic novels. He's very pleased with them and I've also enjoyed reading them with him.

The end of the Ptolemiac dynasty
I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of information in this book along with its length. We read this as part of our homeschool study on Ancient Egypt. The book starts with 4 non-graphic pages providing some important details on the Ancient East, Alexandria. the pharaohs, Ptolemies and how Cleopatra VII came to power. The graphic part of this book begins with Cleopatra as a teenager and then becoming queen at the age of 18. It follows her relationships with both Caesar and Mark Antony along with all the fighting for territory in between. Of course the story most certainly does not have a happy ending with both Cleopatra and Mark Antony committing suicide. At the end of the book there are details on the last pharaoh plus a glossary. I highly recommend this book if you are wanting to know more about the life of Cleopatra.
