ecosystem Journal Grid: Medium Grape Flexicover (ecosystem Series) Paperback – July 6, 2010

I purchased this to serve as a day planner slash art journal. I spent a couple of hours hand drawing in it. It was stored in my purse or on my desk and never subjected to harsh treatment. Less than a month of use, I closed it after finishing a sketch to see the cover torn at the upper left hand corner, separating the purple cover from the inner binding. Later that day it turned into a bigger rip all along the spine, with the purple cover now coming lose. The spine didn't come completely off and I reinforced it with duct tape. I wanted this to last through the following year and now it's being held together with duct tape. There was no other option to buy a hard cover. I will continue to use this since I already put so much effort and work into personalizing it. But for next years planner, I'll probably buy a Moleskin or other brand.

I like the paper quality, the fact that I can remove pages, the grid, and the little pocket in the back. I've had a lot of these journals and sometimes the band that closes the book comes undone (-1 star).

Nice notebook. Covers are stiffer than the Moleskine alternatives. The grid is very fine.

Less than a month into writing and the spine broke.

The cover has cracked after only 1/10 use of the book. Compared to other (moleskin, mining, field guides), this is pretty weak in comparison.

Just what I was expecting. I have owned these in the past and will keep buying them. I like the grid-it is a bit darker than I remember- and the pocket.

I love the flexicover. They are great for note taking and have enough flex without being too flimsy to use on your lap.

It's amazing. I didn't know if it will be amazing since I didn't see a lot of reviews, but it's so sturdy with quality paper. Bought this for bullet journaling and it's amazing!

A staple in my everyday drawing.
