Hard plastic that will melt if hot tools are put into it. That's kind of defeating the whole purpose if you cannot put the irons away when your done with them.

Just as it's described
This was a gift for my daughter who is going to cosmetology school. She had all her curlers, blow dryer, and straightener on the floor so this was perfect! It's very easy to place on the wall, and is very sturdy and good quality.
