Best spent money EVER!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
My daughter, who is almost 4, recently became scarred of washing her hair. She had gotten some of my shampoo in her eyes and it stung. Ever since then she would not let me wash her hair anymore. Even with baby shampoo, no tear formula. I even went as far as rubbing shampoo in my own eyes to show her it would not hurt, but still, she was not having any of it. Every bath or shower turned into a huge fit, where she was screaming her head off, kicking and fighting me to the bone. The end would be a flooded bathroom and exhausted Mommy and daughter. Even taking shower with her and trying to talk her through it did not help. We tried cups, googles and sunvisors, but nothing worked. Finally I found this item here on Amazon. I searched it on youtube and found a demo video of it. I showed the video to my daughter and she was amazed at how the girl in the video was not crying and had no water or shampoo in her face or eyes. So, as a last ditch efford I decided to give it a try and ordered it. Not only was the shipping very fast, but this Lil' Rinser is worth every penny. We tried it out right away, and we had no problems at all. No water in my daughters face, no shampoo, no tears. It must have been the most relaxing and quiet shower ever in our house :) I cannot praise this item enough, I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a child that is fearful of washing hair. What you cant see in the pictures on here is that on the inside where the Rinser touches the head, there is a rubber "seal" like thing, with a groove in it that drains the wayer away from the head on both sides, kind of like a gutter I guess. This also seals to the head so water does not run down in the kids face... Again, super product, wish I had found this months ago. By it with no doubt or worries, this really works. Thank you to whoever invented this, you saved this Mommy's nerves :)

Perfect for hair washing!
So I definitely suggest everyone uses this when introducing hair washing. It’s so easy to use and seriously works. The only downside is it obviously doesn’t fit all heads and you have to hold it the whole time while washing. Also the inside holds very quickly! But just keep and eye on it and it makes bath time so much easier

Somewhat helpful
I think this product is a good idea in theory but when you are actually trying to use it, it will be more trouble than it’s worth. I bought this for my one year old because occupational therapy recommended it due to his fear of getting his hair rinsed / getting water on his face. It was easier just to work on teaching him how to lean his head back rather than try to convince him to let me put the Lil Rinser on his head.

Give it a few trys
So I was desperate for something to make bath time easier, my toddler hates water on their head. The first time I tried this my toddler hated it, but I wanted to help them through it. We worked on it and by the 5th time using it it works like a dream! No more crying or water on their face! 10 out of 10 my life is so much easier at bath time I highly recommend just take the few times to get your kid use to it.

Great for water-defensive persons, young or old
Works very well for a very water-defensive 9-year-old with a somewhat large head for a 9-year-old. This has been the key to doing stand-up showers for hair washing. You do have to place it an an angle, as they show in the diagram. And you have to make sure it is pressed against the forehead, so there are no gaps. Our child holds it on, rather than having us hold it. Make sure they are not tipping their head too far forward, but it doesn't have to be tilted backward either, just upright is enough. Then we can use either the hand shower spray (carefully aimed), or a cup to pour water over the head. This device drains all the water off behind the ears, which is crucial for our young one, who hates to get any water on the face or in the ears. The body of the unit is made of semi-flexible plastic, allowing it to be opened to position it on the head. Inside the lip of the unit a V-shaped rubber "gasket" is attached firmly to the unit all around the C-shape, allowing small gaps to be filled to make a seal on the head.My child's head is 20.5" circumference, and somewhat square-ish. I don't think this unit would be small enough for a baby, but it would probably work for a preschooler. I guess for a toddler it would depend on the size of the head. At the widest part of the unit, the semi-rigid part measures 5 5/8" diameter (14.5 cm). It can open up to maybe 6 3/4" diameter. The rubber "gasket" is is about 1" wide inside of the semi-rigid portion.

AMAZING
I was hesitant to buy because of the Amazon warning that it was “frequently returned,” but this thing is AMAZING. My four year old just took a bath without tears for the first time in a LONG TIME (feels like forever). Sometime during year 3, he became terrified of washing his hair. It was miserable. I finally started looking for solutions other than just holding a rag over his eyes and getting water all over myself and the bathroom, and I found this. I showed him pictures of the guard being used, so he knew what to expect. He was excited to use it at bath time, and we managed the entire bath with NO TEARS!🙌🏽 highly recommend if you have a toddler that hates getting water in their face!

Doesn't work
Not sure if its worth sending back. But it doesn't work like the one I used when I was a nanny. This one doesn't lay on my son's head to block the water from his face. It seems to be angled the wrong way. It's very small and narrow the bottom doesn't lay right on his head so the water just goes onto his face. The one I used years ago was much larger that it fit all the way around the child's head to their ears.

IT WORKS!
Both of our toddlers have tubes so keeping water out of their ears is important. It is always a battle and makes washing hair a dreaded part of bath time. The struggle was exhausting.I had previously purchased something similar that was much much cheaper & it didn’t work.Insert the splash guard. WOW! Talk about a huge game changer. No screams, no fight. Just put this on and hold it there while you wet/rinse the hair.I wish I would have bought this sooner.
