English for Everyone: Teacher's Guide: ESL Teaching Materials and Lesson Plans for English Language Learners

I have 5 years experiencing teaching EFL overseas (in Hungary). This would have been my dream textbook. I bought it because I am considering a return trip and would love to convince my employers/school to use this text. It makes great use of graphics without being overly "busy". It has clear color-coded explanations of grammar. There are companion books with teaching tips (see the worthwhile Teacher's Guide). Comes with internet support for teachers and students - in multiple foreign languages, too, including Magyar (Hungarian). The online audio tracks are light years beyond the dismal cassettes of yesteryear; and even some of the older CD's are, well, corny. Very professional product. Leave it to DK, an excellent publisher in many areas, to come up with a genuine improvement on the standard TEFL textbook!

Bought these books to help my husband with his English and these books are so easy to follow along that I don't need to help him much.

I tutor English to foreign students, and I fell in love with this book series because of all the lesson activity ideas they have, and the types of information and examples they cover! I only hate that I cannot digitally share these books with my students, so I have to convince them to buy their own copies. The Teacher's Guide took a lot of stress off me when I was trying to think of what kind of lesson exercises to have my students practice. VERY helpful book, and the whole series is as well! :) Downside is there is no ebook version.

Good tips and ideas to use when teaching from the other books in the "English for Everyone" series.

Liked the format. Easy to follow and well organized. Some words and phrases were British, but easy to figure out. Used this as an English tutor.

It didn’t seem appropriate for a 7th grader

This was such a waste of money. THe book has some light teaching tips then half of it is transcripts for the audios for EVERY BOOK in the series. Which is so unnecessary, as the audios are free online. This was a total cash grab and I am angry I purchased it when I could have use that money in a better way to actually enhance my teaching. VERY FRUSTRATED CUSTOMER. Don't make the same mistake.

O livro chegou muito antes do esperado e tem uma ótima qualidade. Para um professor iniciante e que nunca se arriscou a dar aulas particulares, é muito útil. Recomendo!
