Excellent Starter Kit
I bought this kit to use as a self learning introduction to Lora devices. It works perfectly for that. The product photograph accurately reflects the contents of the kit. I was impressed with the number of sensors included. The gateway device was easily configured to connect with a free account on The Things Network. Access to the gateway config page can be done by WiFi or wired Ethernet, although it is important to connect to the correct wired port. The two edge node devices provided work well also. Both are clone Arduino devices. One has a GPS tracking client card, the other is more of a general purpose I/O client card. The cards are standard size, so project boxes (available separately) work perfectly. No complaints - one general caution: Single channel gateways like the one included in this kit work fine, but most sketch files (application software) on the net configure the edge device they are running it to try all channels. That means that a lot of reports get dropped. This can be overcome by adding code to the sketch file that limits the edge node to the specific channel used by the Dragino gateway. Note that doing so may make the edge node non-compliant with LoraWan standards and blocked from The Things Network. The kit does not come with any instructions or quick start suggestions. These were available on the Dragino web page though.

Wrong firmware...
I got the gateway working finally, I hope to blog some notes soon. Russell Trafford's Amazon review deserves the credit for figuring out the firmware thing. Dragino REALLY needs a banner on their home page pointing to a resolution doc.Go to Dragino.com, find the Downloads section, Lora Gateways, LG01-* (this one is -P), get the firmware and the gateway manual. READ the manual, cover to cover. Connect your gateway to your computer with an Ethernet cable, and the gateway will provide DHCP so you can talk to it.There is also a LoRa IoT Development Kit Manual and individual Uno/Shield combo manuals. I found the experiments in the Gateway manual easier to get into than the Dev Kit manual. I still haven't made TTN work, but it's not a priority for me at present. The RIGHT firmware will have a name resembling: "dragino-IoT--v4.3.6-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin" Look at the firmware name in the web interface, and if it does not include the term "IoT" it's probably wrong. Several ways to update it, see the gateway manual. Now that it's working, I feel pretty good about the kit, but it's early yet.

Great Kit, wrong firmware
The kit contains really useful hardware and the manual does a good job of stepping through how to set it up. However, the unit that was shipped to us actually had the wrong firmware uploaded ("Dragino-v2 LG02_LG08-5.1.1546867198" instead of "Dragino-v2 IoT-4.3.6") which prevented us from getting the device on a wireless network or being able to identify it on a Wireless Network for a couple of days.I am hoping that this is an isolated problem, but in case anyone else is having issues with connecting to the gateway over WiFi Network or finding it in the Arduino IDE, this may be the issue.

Damage product
Full of wasted money. Some hardware problems. Power on after some time off. And this rate is too high and result is zero.
