BuessAs a numerologist for the last 30 years, I have read lots of numerology books, (haven't written my own yet) I started with this book, in 1980, however, and am still grateful that I did so. Lynn has a better overview of the spiritual place numbers have, than many authors and puts together a short book that's loaded with wisdom and insight that can be put to use right away. Life path numbers, Karmic numbers and soul numbers I found to be the most helpful in this book. The perspective of describing number attribution as they relate to "the New Age" --the paradigm shift we are currently going through, I found unique to Mr. Buess. Its now more likely to be referred to as the Ascension process (NOT the instant rapture ascension where you are gonna get whisked out of your clothes one day without warning)The only other numerology book I like is Life Cycles: Your Emotional Journey To Freedom And Happiness (Paperback) by Christine DeLorey.Which is about the personal years and whats likely to go on in each of the nine years of a numerological cycle. (Other systems consider we live through cycles of 7 years or 12 years) I find the personal year information very helpful and usually quite accurate.

This book gave information in way that I could relate too. It gave the number interpretations from a spiritual perspective and I felt more closely aligned to them due to this. Also there are references to the numbers being expressed in more than one expression, such as the personality number can also act like the life path number if it is the same number if there are some factors missing in the soul growth of the individual.I didn't always agree with the astrological correspondences given to the numbers, as a professional astrologer, I can get a bit picky with things like that. Other than that, I felt this book deserved a place on my shelf.

When I order used books on amazon I always make sure to order books that are at least marked as "Good" under their condition. And I have never had and issue that was as bad as this. This book should have been marked "Bad", pages started falling apart as soon as I took it out of the mail. When I started reading it every page started to fall out.

great book but the binding... book totally fell apart...think all of these same books have this issue..

Of all the books on numerology I have read (all books I came across) this is by far the most unique and provides insight found no where else. Not only does this book delve into the numbers, but also includes comprehensive insight into letters. What sets this book apart from all others is the introduction to Stress Numbers, which presents an entirely new dimension to the individual. Overall, this book is simple to understand as it is applicable when put into practice. Definitely one of the better books to keep as reference and study.

Amazon Book Review Editor I just came across a review for my book Numerology for the New Age which is posted on your sales website. I am aware of the right that each person has to post their opinion, and can live with the different perceptions that people have about published works. However, this review by Luxor of (New York) indicates that the reviewer did not read the material at all and apparently was just intent upon trashing the material. Case in point. The reviewer calls the author a she. Clearly anyone who read the book knows that I am a male. Secondly, the reviewer indicates confusion between the life cycles and destiny number. There is no destiny number presented in the book. These two assertions by the reviewer are grievous errors and therefore makes the review irrelevant and undeserving of being posted. The reviewer complains about mixing astrology and numerology. That is an argument one can make. Every practitioner of the two arts knows there is a correlation between numbers and the zodiac. I have had thousands of clients who have commented positively about the accuracy of the astrological correlations. I have had hundreds of professional astrologers who have likewise said the same. If you are going to leave the inaccurate review posted, then I believe it is only fair to post this response right along with it. Yours, Lynn Buess

Was going to write a review covering pretty much all the info. that Mr. Buess included in his review - so he saved me that effort. I have been referencing this book for years (as well as his great 'Tarot & Transformation') and recommend both wholeheartedly. There is a lot of information here which you won't find anywhere else. You can tell that he's distilled his own experience and observations into the fresh insights which he presents. His works are not just thinly-veiled regurgitations aimed at making a quick buck like most books in the field. It's really too bad if people take half-conscious scribblings like that from 'Luxor' seriously when considering purchasing at Amazon.

No other numerology book comes close to this one. Lynn Buess is the MASTER of numerology. The insight and direction it offers has been so helpful to me and others that I've shared it with. It IS the bible of numerology, hands down! For 20 years now it's helped me understand the course my life has taken and why. This man is amazing! Truly a gifted soul whose insight and knowledge will astound any reader.I promise it will bring clarity and purpose to anyone's life. The best investment in yourself that you could ever make is to buy this book.

Mathmatics is the Science of numbers. Numerology is the Art of numbers. It identifies cycles in human life, personality, behaviour and activity, and also in the wider scheme of things in the world. Consequently it provides accurate and helpful forecasts. This book is head and shoulders above all others currently available in print. If the subject interests you, go for it.

This is old stuff that has been around for ages just re-hashed into another book. There are many better books available.
