I am pretty criticical of keyboards because, it’s the the device that most people interact with the most and actually look at the least. I have purchased, tested, and returned test 32 keyboards in the last 7 months with prices ranging from $8 to $400; this keyboard is one of the few that I settled on for the work that I do because I need a reliable input device that can take some action and keep up with the pace. I use 4 To 5 keyboards for specialized work that Ido in the film, creative, and business settings. This keyboard isn’t the best, in terms of a long list of criteria, but I have yet to find a single input device that meets all my needs; the closest I’ve gotten is a 6 inch keyboard made by another company, but it is too small. Where this board excels is in the support of their products. A 2 year warranty is a very long commitment to stand by their product and that’s something that is the paramount when dealing with hardware; and if you’ve ever tried to use a computer without a hardware input device, it’s not a happy time. Frankly, if I i could design and build my own I would because for some reason, the idea of a full size keyboard, meaning a keyboard with the option of lighted keys, a numeric10 key, arrows, functions, macros, and a mouse or trackpad is a uni-llama it just doesn’t exist. So the market is filled with these weak, too thin, too compact and too fashionable devices that may compete on a head to head who has the thinnest device but not who has the best design, or fit for purpose device. 100% if you want a keyboard that is comfortable and 100% reliable, go for wired, if wired isn’t an option this is your best best. What works for me, regular AAA batteries means I can have them charged and read to replace as opposed to having to constantly track down cables, bricks. and extensions for the built in batteries. If you need to return, you keep the batteries and therefore you don’t need to deal with all the extra steps of shipping with special labels, packaging, and shipping times. The keyboard has a decent spacing of the keys so you can mount the keyboard from different angles and find the home keys (F & J) and start typing. The touchpad is large enough to have full right/left buttons and also isn’t often throwing keys because the receiver is too far away. Let me tell you this is the a #1 problem you’ll have with any wireless device, if there’s interference, it doesn’t matter how much you paid or how big the batteries are, you’re gonna have problems. Biggest ‘con’ I would say the hot keys over the track pad. It turns out that is the best place my muscle memory has found to grab it from, and it also happens to open a obéisse window. In the beginning this drive me crazy as I was constantly closing Chrimw, but once I remapped the keys to a more useful function, it actually turned out to be a huge help. The only thing that isn’t so much a problem as it is an annoyance is the Fn keys. They don’t gel well with their locations so any F1, F4 etc has to be done with a little dancing and fitness. It’s an easy work around, but at the same time when you’re looking to play a device like a fine instrument and it doesn’t meet the mark, it’s a great let down. But I’m happy with the 2 I have and will probably get a few more moving forward.

We've had this Arteck Wireless Touch Keyboard now for five years! I wanted a keyboard for the small kitchen computer we have, to look up recipes and for entertainment. I figured the brushed aluminum build quality would withstand use in the kitchen- and it has! This keyboard has been used daily for five straight years. It’s had the occasional food processor splash on it, and yet it works as good as the day I bought it. The all-in-one design of trackpad and keyboard means we don't need any other point device to control the PC, which is hidden in a cabinet. The range of the dongle allows wireless use anywhere in the kitchen. It's a thin, compact size, and works fine with Windows 11. The key layout is perfect for a media PC as we use it. The only thing that would make this the perfect media keyboard would be a backlight. But you can't have everything! When something works this well this long to where we never even have to think about it- just use it when needed and it keeps working every time as expected, it gets my enthusiastic recommendation!

Decent keyboard which works under normal circumstances, it is light and good size, but fails shorts in comparison to Logitech K400. I bought this to replace my K400 (which stopped working after 7 years). The range is not great, and this keyboard would continously lose connections if the reciever is more than 4 ft away, it will work if i have reciever in direct view of the keyboard but if it is on the other side of the PC or in wierd angle it will loose connection (-1 star). Another issue i realised was that Arctec do not provide replacement USB reciever for this model, these reciever are easy to lose so having a replacement reciever is must have. They provide replacement reciever for other models but not for this specific model (-1 star). -------- Update 04/23/26 ----------- Arteck's customer support reached out and offered to send the replacement usb reciever. They dont sell the usb reciever but can send you one directly from the factory. Adding back (+1 star) for great custoner service.

Good keyboard. I threw away the box and all then thought there was something wrong with it when it wouldn’t come on. I realized there was an on/off switch. Then before that I thought they forgot to include the wireless USB plugin. Bit it was where the batteries are located. Crazy. It seems very sturdy. I did get to try it out and use it for work online. I liked everything but the mouse pad clicker. You really have to press down on it so I am getting used to just tapping on the pad instead of using the clicker.

I am surprisingly satisfied with this item. The trackpad isn't great, but works effectively. My biggest complain is that i haven't found a way to reverse the two finger scrolling direction (it is not inverted). The actually tracking and clicking functions are acceptable. Extremely lightweight. relatively quick response/connection time, though more than once I have started typing and had to go back and correct the first word because the keyboard had gone to sleep and reconnection took the equivalent of about 4 keystrokes (split seconds) My dogs have stepped on this on the couch, and it didn't affect it at all. Still works, didn't break or bend. I'm still on my first set of batteries, which has been about 5 weeks now. No heavy typing or writing, but internet and emails, and forgetting to turn it off (sleep mode works for prolonging battery) --------------- Above review was ~5 weeks after purchase. It has now been roughly 9-10 months and the keyboard no longer works. One set of batteries lasted the entire time with my usage (impressive). It withstood couch. duty/abuse in house with two large dogs (also impressive), but the keyboard eventually just died.... I had about 10 seconds of questionable usage, where I thought that finally the batteries were dying, but even after replacement the keyboard did not function. I have forgotten what I paid, but I truly believe it was good value for the money. I immediately replaced it with an off the shelf keyboard (Logitech k400) from a big box store, and although I have a functioning keyboard. am disappointed that it is not as nice as this unit was. I lowered my rating to three stars, from the initial five, but I fully recommend this keyboard - just don't expect a lifetime of use. Overall, I would recommend.

I use this every day with my computer that's connected to my TV, and it's been working great. The connection has been reliable, and I haven't had any issues with the picture or performance. It's a simple product that does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'd definitely recommend it if you need a dependable connection.

This keyboard is absolute garbage DO NOT BUY. 1. the location of the on off switch is such that you are prone to hit the home button while trying to switch the thing off. 2. the keyboard is very slow to respond and the button layout is so cramped its difficult to type without hitting other keys. 3 you basically cannot be more than 3 feet away from your computer when using this, kind of makes having a wireless keyboard useless. 4. the battery cover slips off very easily while handling the keyboard. and finally, if there is ANYTHING in front of your computer (mainly the port that you have the receiver plugged in) then forget it. The case looks good, and as for the engineering zero stars, functionality zero stars. I have 2 of them and they are both the same used on 2 different computers, the same. I say this so you are aware that it's not that I have a bad one I bought 2, and you can't say its the computer, 1 is brand new 2022 and the other older. DO NOT BUY Waste of money, I am now going to see if I can find the microsoft wireless keyboard, i have been using 2 of them for over 5 years and no issues, i was looking for 2 more when i ran across these. EPIC FAIL ADD ON: The merchant did reach out to me after I posted this review, they were apologetic that their product did not work, I did return these keyboards and received a full refund, so kudos to them on that, they also sent me a replacement keyboard (free of charge) this one is a different on with separate keyboard and mouse, Arteck HW192mw167 wireless keyboard and mouse combo). not something I will regularly as I need keyboard and mouse pad integrated. plus I already purchased a set of logitec K400. but I will review the Arteck and let you know. as forthis product it remains a 1 star, as for the vendor 4 Stars and i will post a separate review for them.

I absolutely love this keyboard. I’ve tried so many brands even the popular ones and paid too much for them. But Arteck has always been my go to brand these days. At such a deal and fair price. Note about these keyboards… slim, light weight, fast connection, the built in trackpad is a game changer. I get to sit back on my lounging chair and do assignments with my monitor 5 feet away! Absolutely convenient. Go get one or two. I’m on my third.

Not every smart tv comes with a magic remote (like LG). Typing experience using remote is frustrating. Voice assistant on modern tvs is still a hit or miss. I wanted a keyboard integrated with touchpad, to create a ergonomic experience. This arteck keyboard fits this need. This does not have bluetooth and integrated rechargable battery, so giving 4 stars.

The solid keyboard is a head above my last plastic one that lasted only four months. It doesn't flex and I like that. The keys feel better too--hoping they don't end up sticking and refusing to work altogether. (You can tell my frustration with the last keyboard.) The touchpad isn't as finicky and I like the option of the right and left click keys. I alternate with it on my lap and a solid surface and the surface is the better choice. The only wish is that it was a 17" but I'm probably in the minority for that. If that size had been available I'd have bought it. But so far, so good.

Looking for something that was easy to use and work with verious devices. So far plugged in to all devices and works perfectly, excellent companion to my smart tvs and other devices. It also looks good

Update. To their credit the seller sent me a new one even though it had passed the return date so I have updated my review. Standing behind their product is a good sign. In the time between my first one and the replacement the seller sent I bought a better known brand keyboard so I can compare. I guess I'm used to a MacBook Pro so maybe my expectations on trackpad performance was too high - these are pretty cheap. Compared to a well known brand I found this keyboard to be just as good for the trackpad and better located to make it easier to use. The keys on this keyboard are more modern and less of a press than the name brand one. This keyboard looks way nicer too, but the key feature the brand name keyboard is missing and this one has is that it has a caps lock light. Kind of essential you'd think, but the name brand one doesn't have one so if touch typing you risk typing in all caps without noticing. Now owning the two, I'm going to use this one, it's better than the name brand one, not by a huge amount, but I prefer it's trackpad position at the bottom (the middle of the keyboard makes it harder to use on the name brand one), it's got a caps lock light and it looks and feels better. I also prefer the low keyboard action of this keyboard too. See the photos for side by side comparison. Old review: Not the best, but adequate. Looks nice, but functionality wasn't the best. Trackpad was laggy or jerky at times, keys sometimes didn't register when pressed - a nightmare for passwords where you can't see what you typed. It's past return date so it's in the bin and I'll get a name brand one instead.
