Works wonderfully well in the hot weather. Its pretty loud, but that's to be expected. The full tank of water lasts about 4 hours or so, so keep that in mind. I recommend this product and company! It's made the hot days so much more bearable in the garage.

Works great in Arizona due to the low humidity. Makes it possible to sit on my back deck on all but the hottest days.

I ordered this unit to stay cool while working in the shed, garage or grilling outdoors during the summer. It was 98 degrees outside and 82 degrees in our shed with the 6'x7' roll up door wide open. Finally, I can work outdoors in the middle of the summer and not have to wait for spring or fall for big outdoor projects. I also hooked up the water filter from my trailer with a 90-degree brass elbow (purchased through Amazon) when I hooked up the unit to the garden hose. Worked great no leaks, no pressure on the water hook-up connector.

No it's not inexpensive however please read and you will understand why it's worth the money. I had to review this cooler after using for 2 years, I'm impressed! Purchased 04 01 2021. Serviced for the first time with clean up and pad placement 07 15 2023. Please understand evaporative coolers do require maintenance, especially portable unit. They require a little attention if you use every day. Such as drain tank at end of every day. The reasone is as the water is used it leaves behind calcium and minerals. Draining daily stopes buildup in unit and pads. I run mine with hose attached. Here is why I'm impressed. Quality of build! Stainless steel screws are truly stainless steel in this unit. No rust anywhere. Everything still look and works like new. Amazing unit. I expect to get another 5 to 8 years of service from this unit.

We love it.....it really makes a difference on our patio here in Dallas. We've had it a year and it is working just fine. We are looking at getting another one for when my husband has the fellas over watching TV in the Garage...

I use this swamp cooler at a house in Utah where the humidity is low. It is made with the cheapest possible materials and has no handles to lift and move over steps or obstacles. I hope the internals are better constructed. The construction quality is something you would expect to see in North Korea- seriously bad. But it works great so far. Drops the temp at least by the amount claimed. We use on the deck and is really effective though a bit loud.

If you like sitting outside in summer in Texas, this is a must have. It helps keep you real cool as long as you are also in the shade.

Works great, we got this to use in our garage. You can either connect it to a hose or fill it up if it is not by a hose connection. Makes the world of difference in this Arizona heat.
