Jury's still out
I have very wide flat feet with plantar fasciitis and tarsal tunnel. I am a PT hairdresser as well as an ER Tech and I work 12-hour shifts. I've had plantar fasciitis for a year-and-a-half now and my go-to shoes were Hoka Vanquish 2 which Unfortunately they stopped making. That set off a neurosis looking for shoes that were comfortable, supportive, cushioned and something I can wear that didn't hurt my heels or arches. I have probably had about 20 pairs of shoes come and go from my house over the last 6 months because nothing compares to those hokas I had. I also either wear protalus insoles or my orthotics from the foot doctor so I need enough room for them to fit. I have tried virtually every Hoka much to my disappointment none are like my beloved Vanquish 2, I have tried Altra but can't do the zero drop and I've also tried Kuru but they were not comfortable at all. I need something with a deep heel cup as well and none of those seemed to fit the bill. Someone at work had these shoes and I had been looking at them but they were so expensive and quite honestly fugly. I've gotten to the point in my life where looks are secondary and comfort is more important. My original pair was the mighty walk but I sent them back because although I ordered them in a 9 they still seem narrow. I decided to try this model because it just looked like it had more substance to it. They just came in the mail and my first impression is they are cheaply made for the price that I paid. The laces are ridiculously long, mine have black stuff all over them which leads me to believe they were possibly used? Also at the top of the foot where they blue color meets the Black by the tongue, it's unraveled. The laces are also starting to Frey or something. They just look like they're not going to last. I haven't worn them much but when I do I like how it feels in the heel, I do feel like they are kind of strange fitting in the forefoot and my foot seems to slide and jam my big toe into the front of the shoe. Possibly because the heel is much higher? I am not sure, right now sitting with them on my feet I feel my heel hurting. They are not soft like my hokas so they will take a lot of getting used to. They come with an insert to make the shoe snugger but it is like a hard piece of cardboard, I am going to try a gel-like insole instead. They are also very heavy and this model seems to be cheaper looking than the mighty walk. I'm not quite sure how they're going to work out but at this point I am so over ordering shoes and sending them back I'm about to give up. I will update this review and let you know how it goes. Honestly I am not too hopeful, I think my feet are a lost cause. ETA: I returned them. they looked they they wouldnt last and they made my foot slide forward squashing my toes

Poor Quality
I purchased these at the end of July & after wearing for 2 months the soles started coming apart. I have emailed the company 2 times to get this resolved and have heard nothing back. This is not what I expected of an athletic shoe after only 2 months use. I have 3 other pair that I have purchased from this company but I'm sure that they will be the last. I guess just because you spend more $$$ doesn't mean better quality. Sorry I bought them.

These shoes are wonderful. I m a 70 year old woman and have knee, hip and balance problems. These shoes have made a significant improvement in these problems. The shoes fit perfectly. They have added toe room also.2/11/2017: Unfortunately the mesh is beginning to tear away from the leather in the same spot of both shoes. These shoes are too expensive to have this kind of problem three month after purchase.

Best Shoe EVER!
I over pronate, have terrible foot pain and flat arches. For years I’ve purchased every shoe known to man with no great relief until this shoe!! My foot pain went completely away when I put these shoes on and I’ve been in bed from pain for three days for walking barefoot for 15 minutes. I’m in shock these shoes are soooooo amazing!!!

Bad for concrete floors
I bought these sneakers specifically because they are suppose to be good for people who work on concrete floors. I tried a few different times to wear them. My feet kill me... it’s sad that I spend $150 for work shoes and I end up in pain 1/4 of the way through my day. I went to Walmart, bought a pair of $12 sneakers and $7 insoles and my feet are fine.

Best shoe I have wore since I have been dealing with planter facitsis. I work 12 to 14 hour shifts as a regestered nurse. The first shift of wearing these was the first time I did not have pain or limped out the door of my job in about 4 months and was able to have a restful, pain free sleep. This was the second flare up of planter facitsis when working on non carpeted flooring and trying multiple types of shoes at multiple prices. I must thank my sister for finding and sendiing the info on these shoes from shoes from miles away.

Not up to par for a G-Defy shoe.
I have bought Gravity Defyer for years now because of the springs in the heels, it gives me the little bounce I need because I have bad knees. I normally buy the Super Walk athletic shoe but I thought I would give this one a try. I will not buy this one again. I don't know if this was made in a different part of the world as the other shoe , but clearly the craftmanship is not as good. The tongue on this shoe is just material , there is no padding in the tongue, and the stitching on the inside sock material at the top of the shoe is sloppy.

The fit of these shoes is great..
The fit of these shoes is great....good ankle support and heel cushioning. A little hard to get used too but I did as instructed, one day on one off, and now I have no heel or knee pain. Love the shoes!!!
