Incredible craftsmanship and quality!
As an occasional weekend carpenter, I'm not easily impressed with furniture but this $70 desk knocks my socks off. Most anything out there in this price range is junk. I looked hard and that's my experience. The legs are solid wood and so is one stretcher. The rest, including the top, is particle board with a beautiful veneer. Though described as Oak this is in no way Oak by any stretch of the word. It looks exactly like Cherry wood. In one photo you'll see it side by side with other solid hardwood Cherry furniture. Identical look. Every part came; no missing screws, dowels, etc. The door pulls are quite heavy for their size; by no means cheapo knockoffs. Every single hole lined up perfectly. Rarely does this happen, and it made for an enjoyable experience, which actually started with the unboxing. Some of the best internal packaging I've ever seen. Appropriately placed strofoam panels throughout the box. A genius designed the packaging. Note that much of the assembly is already done for you, including all the drawer glides which are usually a nuisance to install. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver. The instructions are in English and well drawn. Again, this in itself is amazing. The only critique is with the front flip down panel. Actually it's with the little wooden stop that prevents the panel from being pushed in too far. The stop is too far forward, which means the front panel is too far forward when closed. A relatively easy fix. Also, the wooden dowels could have been a tad bit thicker. Overall I am super pleased and recommend this without reservation for anyone looking for a small desk under $100. If you're on the fence, don't be. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Check out the photos. Hopefully they help you.

Perfect vanity!!
Loved the desk. Hated the color... it looked too new and orangish with the stain. It basically didn't match my decor at all. But the desk was so perfect for what I was looking for, it was a quick fix with some sandpaper, darker stain and black paint to "rustic it up". I had a very small place that I wanted to put a vanity but I have a toddler so I didn't want all my makeup out and I didn't want to invest hundreds on an actual vanity. Makeup is perfectly hidden in the keyboard drawer... pull it out, turn on mirror and I'm ready to go! Easy to tuck it all back in and hide it all away again when done. Keyboard drawer is deep so plenty of room for all my goodies! I would definitely recommend this... easy to put together too. 4 stars on for the color... but that's just my personal preference.

Perfect Desk for Small Area!
I love this desk. It's just the right size for me. It fits my 17" monitor with enough space left over on each side to put a desk lamp, and speakers. It was easy enough to put together, took about 30 minutes for my husband who is a senior. So, not complicated at all. The directions could be a bit better though. The drawer front with 2 knobs is actually a just to make it more attractive. Inside there is a another pull out for the keyboard and mouse. Do remember it's not a regular drawer to put things inside.. The color is perfect to go along with my Country Oak furniture.I stood the tower on the floor on the side of the desk and put my UPS on the floor underneath the desk and still had room for my feet and legs very comfortably.I have plenty of space in front of the monitor to write letters or read magazines.A great desk at a great price.

Darn. It looked so perfect!
Good Points: Nice size; ships and arrives on time; good design idea; good price.Needs work Points: The color of the finish doesn't match on all the parts; the front ledge on the keyboard pull out interferes with comfortable and accurate typing; it doesn't come with all the tools you need to assemble it - you need a Phillips head screwdriver; it is too high/tall to sit and properly read an iMac screen (must tilt head to look up - which is really hard with bifocals); the back panel is flimsy and the plethora of small screws that hold it in do not have lead holes so they tend to be hard to start and keep straight, the heads are not recessed so they catch things, and they look crummy; it's a computer desk, but there are zero holes for cords to pass through; the keyboard pull out tray bounces a bit, making typing more awkward; it is top heavy so only fairly stable, then adding the computer raises the center of gravity, so it is less stable. After taking an hour to assemble, we don't want to go to all the work to unassemble to return it. We will cut a few inches off the legs to lower it, and put a pad under the keyboard to raise it to ledge level. We'll see how it holds up. We would not recommend it or buy again.

Beautiful Desk - Wonderful Customer Service!
We wanted a computer desk for our newly built kitchen that would fit in a small space and look like fine furniture. This was perfect! It has a pull out drawer for the keyboard and the mouse (we have an extra long keyboard with a number pad). The desk was not difficult to assemble. We did have one problem. One piece had been damaged during shipment. I contacted the seller, Convenience Concepts and included photos of the damaged part. We received an e-mail within a day from the customer service representative, Mr. TJ Sommerfield who was very happy to help. The company processed and shipped a new part within two days. We love our new computer desk. We now have a large iMac and it fits just right. The keyboard drawer keeps it neat and is just the right height to type comfortably (about 26.5 inches from the floor). I want to express my thanks to Convenience Concepts and Mr. Sommerfield for taking pride in their product and caring about their customers!

Just The Thing.
Assembled in just over an hour, working at a leisurely pace. Everything fit nicely, all parts present. No problems. Finished table is stable and sturdy enough for the job. Pullout drawer/tray works fine - but the lip on the front end is a little uncomfortable so four-star, rather than five. Keyboard on the table top works fine in my case.I found that assembling on a card table made the job much, much easier.

nicely made, fits in any space
Lovely little desk that fits in small spaces. good looking and sturdy. the only thing is the drawer sits a little off center but that may have been our poor building skills.
