This beautiful dress is made of excellent synthetic fabric that adds enough weight for it to not be see thru and to be wrinkle resistant. It is plain in the sense that it is not shimmery or textured but it is fancy in the styling. It is floor length, with ruched, criss cross bodice. I wore it to sing in a choir at Carnegie Hall. It was elegant and appropriate. The only thing that could make it better would be pockets!

I FINALLY found the perfect tall girl friendly maxi dress! THIS DRESS! Please never stop making this!I am 5'9 1/2, 150lbs normally size medium and I bought a size medium in Indigo Purple. The length is miraculously perfect! It covers down to the tops of my toes. The color is stunning. The material is durable, washes/dries well and is comfortable. The style is absolutely gorgeous (beautiful sleeves, form fitting waist and aline bottom)Shipping was on time and the dress arrived beautifully packaged and new.I almost cried tears of joy when I put on this dress. Being tall, I never thought a perfect dress was possible and in such a stunning color. This is THE PERFECT dress. I will be repurchasing it in at least 3 more colors.Thank you for this dress. Please do not discontinue it.

I purchased this dress for a formal banquet. I'm 5'10" and weigh about 130. Amazon suggested a 3X, and after reading the reviews I stuck with that size. It fits loosely. Maybe a little too loose, especially around the bust and waist area.The length is perfect. Remember, I'm 5'10. I'm picked here with the proposed shoes for the event. They are 4" heels! The material is soft to the touch. Though I'm old school and would suggest wearing a half slip, it's not necessarily. A body shaper should be sufficient.Overall, I love the dress. I ordered a 2X to see if that would fit better. I'll do an update once it arrives.

I am a bigger girl and needed a long dress for a semi formal wedding in Nashville in July. I wanted something the didn't look hot or dark. I looked at many, many dresses in Amazon, other sites and in stores. Since I am quite tall, nothing was either long enough or didn't fit me in my middle section. I kept looking at this dress and decided to buy and and try it. It was perfection. the elastic in the middle was extremely comfortable and the sleeves were loose enough for a larger arm. What's even better, it was long enough. I am 5'11" and wore flats and the length was just above the floor. The 'V' neckline was flattering and slimming and was perfect for wearing my pearls. I found the fabric to not wrinkle at all in my suitcase and once I hung it up and let it hang overnight, it was wrinkle free. What's even better, the fabric remained cool and comfortable during the muggy and warm weather. I am quite happy with this purchase.

I recently ordered this dress in a different color ("blue teal quartz," which isn't teal at all- it's more of a dark sky blue and is not as bright as shown in my attached photos) and was so happy with it that I decided to get it in basic black as well. However, I couldn't decide between "black" and "matte black," and couldn't find any other customer reviews about either color, so I ordered both. The two looked identical in color on my cell phone screen, but they are definitely different in person. "Black" is more of a charcoal gray. (Ironically, when I looked at the product photos on a computer screen, "matte black" appears to be more gray, almost as if the product photos and names got mixed up.) There is not much difference between the two in terms of shine. The fabric appears to be woven differently, though. "Matte black" almost has a ribbed or striped appearance. "Black" matches "blue teal quartz" in terms of weave and thickness. Unfortunately, "matte black" is much thinner fabric, as demonstrated by my attached photo showing it next to "blue teal quartz" in front of a window. (The photo of the two next to each other without light behind them is just to show the fabric texture and weave difference.) "Matte black" has a more flimsy "hand" or feel to the fabric, which is disappointing as I was expecting a more sturdy polyester like the "blue teal quartz." In general, the "matte black" has a cheaper look and feel to it. I would have kept the "black" for the better fabric but I really wanted a more saturated color, so I returned it and stuck with the "matte black."Fabric and color aside, I really love this dress. The fit is perfect and very flattering. I love the style and long hemline. It's a beautiful dress. However, one thing to be aware of is that there is a shirred (gathered) section on the back at the waist. This does reduce the formality of the dress if this matters to you. It was a bit of a surprise to me as I did not see it in product photos and videos. I bought this dress for more formal purposes and would prefer to have it without the shirred section, but in general the dress checks all the boxes, especially for this price point.

Beautiful … I got it for my daughter’s wedding and everyone absolutely loved it. It also fits just right with the measurements chart.
