Just bought and installed the red and white version in the back window of my truck for direct responses with the fire department. Very bright even in daytime though a tinted window. Seems sturdy, its metal and light covers are hard plastic. Lots of flash patterns. Four stars only because some of the patterns could be set up a little better. The best way to explain is some of the patterns are out of balance as far as how many/which lights come on. Ex. light 1, 6, 7 flash alternating with 2,3,4,5. The first one I got was very wrong with flash patterns, but they sent a replacement quickly. It will work for me

Just finished installing this to be used when I plow this winter. Placed it at rear of roof on my Jeep. Cycled through all the many flash patterns and I find it to be excellent for my use. Lights are bright with a low power consumption.

The one I received was wired incorrectly. Basically, wired as if it had an additional LED module. This makes it appear offset/a light out when installed.Wiring was easy, though the cable that it came with wasn’t long enough to put the switch in reach. Another 5ft would have saved the day.As it’s a single row of LED’s it’s pretty faint during the day compared to professional level directional bars. It’s not terrible but could be better. For the price it’s likely appropriate.

The product is very bright and has more than enough strobe patterns. The problems I find is with the install. Their were no instructions, but I’m capable of doing it without any. The inside mount for my truck would be impossible with the current mounting hardware. It’s too short and wouldn’t drop down to the back glass to be seen. Also, if you have airbags in the roof you may not want to even try that out. So I had to just wedge the light behind the headrests. It was a tight fight but will work just fine. The wiring was easy enough if you are knowledgeable in that area. Just splice, tape, and go. After all that it’s a great product for the price and what I need it for.

I installed this in my 2012 Ford Escape rear window. It's plenty bright even through a dirty tinted window. All the flash patterns seem to work as intended. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because of an issue I've noticed with the bar does not flash if the bar itself is colder than about 40 degrees Fahrenheit. All the lights stay on steady until the bar has warmed up a bit. This may cause issues if you try to mount it on the exterior of your vehicle during cold conditions.

0nly 8 lights work 24 lights does not work. Order one just like it last year it is still going strong . I use it all the time on a pilot car. I guess this one was just a bad light ? Or damaged when it was shipped the box was crushed and tore open. but I think I am going to order another one .

Worked well after delivery less then a month later the toggle switch went out and had to be replaced . might be better on occasional use but I use this daily. After switch replacement no further problems .

I’m pretty pissed about this.It clearly advertises in the product description that it comes with a 12V plug for the cigarette lighter. No where did I opt out for the plug. It only had an option to choose color or suction cup. Of course it did not come with 12Vplug , nor did it come with any instructions on how to wire this. Not happy. .
