I bought this skirt for my very average sized 10 year old daughter. I bought the size 10-11 and it fits her pretty much just right, with some room to grow. The shape of the skirt is very flattering and looks really nice. It's a substantial skirt and not flimsy at all. I think this skirt would hold up to kids/adults who are hard on clothes.My daughter is an anime/manga fan and she loves it for its look in that regard. I got the pink plaid and the black and they are both very nice. The pink plaid is not bright, but pretty muted, which makes it look extra nice. The black she can wear as a uniform skirt (if we return to the classroom in the Fall). It's a pricey skirt, but it's not flimsy. The shorts underneath are pretty thin and not snug, but they seem to do the job. We don't put the skirt in the dryer and it dries pretty quickly because of the poly blend. My daughter put on in the dryer by mistake and now it needs to be ironed, so I recommend just laying it flat to dry after washing.If you are looking for a pleated skirt, I highly recommend this one!UPDATE:My child has been wearing these skirts regularly and they are holding up very well. They show basically no signs of wear. All of the seams are holding up well. The shorts underneath are nice, but a bit thin. On a thin person they are loose, so the wearer still has to be careful how they sit, if they don't want their underwear to show!I still highly recommend these skirts. I just saw some pleated skirts at Target for the same price and I thought about how much nicer these are.As far as washing--I know my daughter puts them in the dryer, but when I end up washing them, I leave them out to dry, just in case that will extend the life of the skirt. They have been put in the drying countless times, though, and still look great.

Ordered a size 6/7 for my very petite 8 yr old. It was still too big around waist and reached past her knees. I returned and hopefully the size 5t fits better. Otherwise the skirt seems very strong and and built in shorts are great.

Ordered this in pink with the white stripes and it was perfect. Size 13-14 fits my overly skinny waist firmly and comfortably, 5'10" ~125 lbs if anyone has a similar build and curious. The little attached shorts are thin and loose, easy to remove, would recommend cutting and tearing them out, they come out easily, you shouldn't need a seem ripper. The quality of the pink skirt I ordered is amazing.I decided to order a second time for the black with white stripes, unfortunately what I got seems like a returned item. The quality was clearly inferior, almost like it's a poorly made knock off, and it was smaller, despite claiming to be the same size. Pure speculation, but seems like someone damaged them in the wash then returned them and it got resold. This is bound to happen with Amazon, so I wont count this against them.This is an amazing product, when things go right. 5/5

I bought this skirt for my daughter but sadly the skirt is a little too big for her which is weird because I did pick the right size for her but I’ll just probably adjust it with a pin for the mean time. The quality is very good I love how it feels and looks. 9/10 because of the size 😊 for reference my daughter is a size 2t & 3t.

Bought it for my daughter, its a very cute skirt. The material does not feel cheap. It has a stretchy band wish it were a more stretchy but overall its very nice. My daughter found it comfortable and love the fact it has shorts attached underneath. Would definitely rebuy but a different color.

Love this skirt! Size is perfect, and made very well. My daughter is 10 1/2, healthy thin (not a stick) and the skirt fits her perfectly. It’s soft, has pockets and shorts underneath. The shorts are soft, roomy not too tight and just an amazing fit. So happy with this skirt.
