Good Glock FM78 knife Chineese knock off
This is a close but not exact copy of the Glock FM78 knife made from cheaper materials. In the pictures the Glock is on the left. The main difference is that the shadow ops knife does not have a removable end cap which means it also does not have the metal insert socket for the AUG rifle bayonet lug. The shape also looks a little different to me. The balance point on the shadow ops knife seems to be about 1/4" in front of the guard on the blade. On the Glock its about 1/4" behind the guard on the handle. The metal material and coating as well as the handle appear to be different on the knives. The sheaths are interchangeable between the knives though the shadow ops knife feels a bit more flimsy to me. The belt clip on this knife is easier to work than the glock but I suspect the belt hanger part of the sheath can easily break with hard use. My knife had a bit of a blemish on the handle just below the guard. I was able to grind that off with a shapening stone without much effort.I think at this price point quality control is not going to be top notch and I would not be too suprised to find minor blemishises from one blade to the next.If you collect Glock knives or just want a cheap light military style knife that won't hurt the wallet much if it gets lost or breaks you will like this. If you expect perfection or top quality you will disspointed. I give it 5 stars because for the price it seems pretty cool.

One for the collection!
I'm rather pleased, I collect the Glock Knives, and I collect imitations and this is a nice one. It looks close. They didn't hide the blemish, it's right in the pic, a flash mark or whatever, I don't have my Dark Earth or whatever Glock calls it handy, but I'm thinking this is a darker, richer brown. I rather like it. I of course, haven't tested the steel, but it locks up nicely in the sheath.

A Glock by any other name
This is an excellent value field knife. An exact reproduction of the Glock knife including the sheath. It came sharp out of box, unlike the Glock. Tool steel, but made in China.

Do not buy, not safe.
The blade is only press fit into the handle. When trying to draw the knife from the sheath the handle came completely off in my hand. This knife is not safe to use.

Decent Made Carbon Steel Chinese Knife
It's a type of Glock clone. Materials are not as good as the Glock knife (1060 steel, mystery plastic, rougher fit & finish, etc). There is no metal insert (bayonet lug) in the handle, also no plastic end plug. The handle appears to be a simple solid plastic unit. The knife looks and feels quite nice in the hand, and the blade grinds are straight and even. The knife came sharp, not hair popping sharp, but it had a usable utility edge. This knife is advertised as having 1080 steel, but written on the blade in teeny tiny letters, its printed/labeled as 1060 steel (I had to have a younger person with better eyes verify this for me). I haven't used this knife on my acreage yet, so I have no idea how the blade edge will hold up; don't know much about Chinese 1060 steel.
