Canon Battery Pack NB-13L

It works great with my Canon.

What can I say? The battery is just like an original - size, shape, color, charging, use. No off-brand. This is just like the one that came with my camera. Great!

I previously tried a generic version of this battery. This battery lasts longer and charges more quickly. This appears to be a genuine OEM replacement as opposed to some of the look alike versions of this item that are much cheaper and ship directly from China.

This is the battery made for Cannon cameras. It works fine, but costs nearly twice as much as a similar battery from another company.

Would I buy the cheaper $19 battery or this $43 original OEM battery for my Canon G7X Mark II? The cheaper battery's price is so enticing (plus a lower sales tax) that it seemed to be the logical choice. But, would the $24 price difference give me some peace of mind? Or, an assurance that it will perform and last like the original? In the end, I went to buy the original replacement battery for my Canon G7X MKII camera. Had I purchased a cheaper camera, then, purchasing a cheaper battery would be an easy decision. The battery I received came in the sealed, original box (with hologram) and after opening, it came inside a plastic bag with a protective white plastic cover for the terminals and a folded manual/instruction sheet. Out of the box and using the external charger, it took about 2 hours to fully charge it. No errors, no warnings, no worries, no headaches - it simply worked as it should - just like the original that came with the camera. Now, I have peace of mind knowing that I have a reliable back-up battery for the camera during my travels.

Excellent; it's good to have an extra battery on hand when one takes lots of pictures.

This is an excellent battery. I took photos and videos for over 4 hours and the battery was only down to 30% when I stopped. I haven't tested it to the point where there wasn't any charge left. I am impressed by how it has performed so far.

I brought this as a spare battery. I rather have a genuine battery than a fake one. I have a 5 year old camera my dad gave me to borrow. Only 1 battery is a propper cannon one. The other two are cheap chinese copys. Never but these they don't last. I ended up buying my own camera. As the is no way I'm buying a new battery. For a 5 year camera that is not mine. I have saved loads of time on my filming as I don't wast a day on waiting for batterys to charge up then go flat 30 mins later. to some it seems over priced but work put how much time is saves over time you use it.
