Love this Book
Wayne provides a compelling narrative around resting in the love of the Father. I used this book in a Bible Study, and had one person complain that this was too easy, and not the “meat” Of the gospel. But the more I thought about it, the more I am convinced that experiencing the love of God IS the meat of the gospel, and the rules and actions we unendingly discuss is more of the “milk” that the Pharisees got bogged down with. This book does a great job of reminding the readers of that and forces us to reconsider what it means to follow Christ

Wow! Really good book!!!
I needed this. The moment I gave my life to Christ, I KNEW God loved me. Then I started to live by rules and everything fell apart. Getting back to His Love and Relationship is what I crave. Good stuff. Thank you.PS. I knew nothing about this book before buying it. I was praying for some direction and decided to look for something to read and this popped up. ❤️

That is how much Jesus thought you were worth
Jesus didn't die on the cross for you because you were worthy, but because that is how much he thought you were worth.Jacobsen's book, He Loves Me, is a great reminder of this truth. Nothing we have done can ever earn God's favor. Neither our obedience nor disobedience changes the way God feels about us. Instead, it is God's decision to deem us clean and restored as His children. What proof is there that God has cleaned us and loved us so? The Great Fire of God - Holy Spirit - lives in our own fleshly bodies. Indeed, God has made us clean; we have done nothing to deserve it, nor can we ever repay Him, nor does He want is to try. He simply wants us to reach up and accept His offer to hold us.Jacobsen presents this truth from many different perspectives. He has structured his book with many short chapters followed by deep discussion questions. The discussion questions are suitable for personal reflection or sharing with a small intimate group. This structure helps Jacobsen to focus on a single concept at once using many illustrations and stories to enforce his point. This approach helps the reader dig deep through his own reservations. Many times Jacobsen is writing to perform surgery on the reader's heart. Through many false teachings and lifelong hurts, most people have built up a think callous around his or her heart. Nonetheless, Jacobsen proceeds in a way to penetrate this callous and inject the message of God's love where it can break down these scars.Even those who are very confident in their appreciation of God's love can benefit from the many perspectives and reminders given by Jacobsen. This is not a book to simply read and then shelve to gather dust. This book should be kept around in the open where someone might pick it up and read a short chapter. It all boils down to Jacobsen's title: "Who is God? Well, first and most important: He loves me."

Since I was not particularly happy with that portrayal of The Father
This was the first book by Wayne Jacobsen after his collaboration on "The Shack" that I read by him. Since I was not particularly happy with that portrayal of The Father, the son, and holy spirit, I was skeptical when a friend gave me this book to read. I tried really hard to find something in there with which I could take issue. But, alas, I could not. Actually, after attending a For My Life Conference, by Dr. Henry W. Wright, and having "The Father's Love" ministered to me, at the unction of the Holy Spirit, I came to understand that I had a long-held accusation against my heavenly Father as the result of a discipline my earthly father administered to me at the age of 5 or 6 that I thought was unfair. After forgiving my earthly father and repenting to my Heavenly Father, for this evil agreement with the evil spirit who put that thought into my mind, my Heavenly Father, forgave me and He became such an incredible source of love, understanding, and enlightenment to me. To me it was amazing. So I did not think there was anything else that could improve that relationship. I was wrong. This book came to me after that experience, which I understand that my Heavenly Father orchestrated, and stretched me even more in my understanding of His love for me. Both experiences created in me an increased longing to be in the presence of my Heavenly Father continually. I don't know where you are in your journey with your Heavenly Father, but if He directs you to read this book, look to find what He is wanting you to know about Him. AND ENJOY.

Second time it was like the book was talking to me deep inside and ...
We have all heard that Father loves me for the bible tells us so. This book does it differently and is without a doubt been instrumental in changing my life and helping me onto a journey that is moving me into a discovery of what it truly means to live each day in Fathers affections. First time I read it through and didn't get it. Second time it was like the book was talking to me deep inside and lights were coming on. I'm now reading it a 4th time and more is still coming. Most importantly is the real meaning of what happened on the cross and the freedom that brings to daily life walking with God.

It is about accepting and enjoying God's love and grace
This book was initially leant to us by a friend. Since then I have bought copies for friends and one for us, too.It is about accepting and enjoying God's love and grace. If you have been brought up in an environment where whatever you do is never regarded as good enough and you are made to feel that you must strive to be better, even though, apparently, you will never be; then this book should provide some solace.

He loves me
After having spent decades as a Christian unable to believe God could possibly love me, this book was the start of getting me through this vicious lie of Satan. Along with Joseph Prince's 'Destined to Reign' God finally brought me to the point of being able to believe He didn't hate me (negative). Now I can believe that He loves me (positive). This book has been life for me, and I thank God for it.

Bought as a replacement copy for a friend. I already know it is an excellent book to read showing God's love for us with many profound sentence and paragraphs to be found within the chapters. Was recommended to read this awhile by a friend and sense I need to re-read the book.

Life changing book!
God's love for me isn't dependant on me "behaving", "getting things right," "pleasing God" or how I "feel about him". He loves me all the time, is always rooting for me and wants to have a deep intimate relationship with me all the time! The message of thes book is for all those Christians who have spent their lives trying to please God, tirelessly working for "the Chiurch" or thinking God doesn't love them when things go wrong.God passionately loves you!!! A must read for everyone.
