Quality Product! ( just dont stay in the room you're using it in )
I bought this product to help clean a rather smelly car, and it has worked flawlessly. The cars previous owner has 3 dogs who like to swim in the river... a lot! This meant wet dogs in the car quite often, and as you can imagine over time this would get quite stinky.Somehow, ( i guess dog hair ) the smell was not only in the carpet and seats , but also in the air vents, meaning that if you put the heater on, you got a stinky warm waft of greasy dog hair to breathe! Quite unpleasant.THIS ITEM HAS CLEARED IT ALL!I removed the seats and after shampooing them and letting them dry, I bagged them individually and piped the Ozone air into the bags via a flexible ( household drier vent ) pipe. I let the Ozone generator run fo ran hour on each seat, then left them to air-out for 3 hours before refitting them into the car.For the car ventilation system, I taped the flexi-pipe ( purchase seperately from any white appliance vendor, it's cheap ) to one of the dashboard vents and closed off the others. I let that run for an hour or so and afterwards let the car air-out, and the smell was gone! When I did the car interior and ventilation system, I sat the Ozone Generator OUTSIDE the car ( so it would always get fresh clean air itself ) and piped in teh Ozone rich air into the car by aforementioned pipe via a partially opened window ( but the others closed to maximise exposure to ozone ).It works brilliantly! This car was a rather extreme example, so I'm completely confident the device would handle lesser stenches.Other smells I've eradicated.... smelly carpet ( some one spilled milk and let it dry up )Baby sick.Kitten poop soft furnashing oopsie.Trainers and shoes and boots. ( bag them first, or better yet, buy a plastic storage box and cut a hole to let the ozone air in, this making a dedicated shoes smell remover )Ozone O3 kill sall living matter, so it destroys bacteria and fungus ( the stuff making the smell )It also is a corrosive, being an oxidiser, so remove any electrical items from any room you use it in ( TV, PC etc ) just to be on the safe side.

Did a very good job
I had a guitar in case that had been kept in a wardrobe in a damp and unventilated room. Both the guitar and the case stank of mold and mildew. You could smell it as you walked passed the open case from a distance of a couple of feet. I tried deodorisers and polishes but nothing worked, it plain and simply stank. After a lot of reading and checking out various forums, I began to discover more about ozone treatment and researching what machines and power outputs were available. I spoke to one company who rented out ozone machines to art restorers to get rid of mold/mildew smells on old paintings so I got some sort of reassurance that this might work. I then realised I could buy this machine for the same cost of renting one for one day. So, on the basis that this machine had an Amazon recommendation, the seller in China seemed to have some reasonably good feedback for support, I duly went ahead and ordered this unit. It arrived very promptly the next day, and I set it up in my bathroom. I put the case, open, on its end, the guitar on a stand and the unit on a shelf. I led the power cable out under the door and to a socket in a separate room. I set the timer for 120 minutes, shut the door and waited. After 2 hours I switched on the extractor fan in the bathroom (from outside, with the door still shut) and left it for another 45 minutes. The half-life of ozone is 30 minutes so I felt reasonably sure that it would be safe. I then had a good sniff at both the guitar and the case and to my delight no more mold/mildew smell, it worked and I'm delighted. The bathroom smells pretty good too! The unit is rated for 8,000 hours use so for £60 that's .75p per hour, so not really expensive by any stretch. I don't know what the support infrastructure is like in the UK but will no doubt find out if and when I have any problems. I don't work for Amazon or the company who make these but I'm very happy.

OK if you want a 3500mg / hr unit.
As per another reviewer, this unit does NOT produce up to 5000mg or 7000mg of ozone per hour as the title and descriptions state. This unit produces 3500mg only - this is printed on the box! So I feel a bit conned to be honest as I could have got a 3500mg model for less very easily. As is the case with so many Chinese goods on Amazon similar sites, the same unit is being sold under many different brands with different specs. As for the unit - it's a simple affair - a metal box housing the ozone generating ceramic plate (they all seem to use this system and these plates are on sale themselves quite widely), a fan to push the air through and a timer that goes to 2 hours. All works fine so far. This level of ozone is not powerful enough to kill mould or bacteria in a room but is enough to kill odours in a small room or car. We got it to get rid of long-standing odour in a room and it appears to have worked. I'll be using it in my car next.If I was buying again I'd buy a more powerful unit which could do a larger room and work quicker.
