Good quality great price nice stainless
Sub had a couple different garbage cans lately. I've returned them all to the stores. I wasn't too sure when I ordered this on Amazon. So I use the recycling side for my garbage and I use the garbage side which will be the left side for my recycling.I like the soft close lids. I like the locks so when you open the trash can to pull out the containers they stay open. The smaller side which is typically used for recycling has a nice handle on it. The bigger side which is on the left has some handles that are built into it and also where you would loop your garbage bag through. I don't use garbage bags I feel like they're causing more damage to the environment so I just use the can itself. I recycle more than I have garbage. That's why I use the left side the bigger side for recycling. I have far more recycled goods than I do actual garbage. Both containers are easy to clean and they're made of sturdy material plastic. Very smooth inside so nothing really sticks to it. It's shorter than most garbage cans but I like it where I have it sitting under my cabinet it works out well. Other garbage cans that have had are either too tall or just not big enough. For $100 this fits the bill. Has all the features I'm looking for. Look sharp in my kitchen. The stainless is really nice It doesn't get dirty too well It doesn't show fingerprints. I think I've had it for about 3 months now with no issues. So if you're looking for a garbage can I would recommend it It's good quality good price and I'm very pleased.

Very well thought out. I'm really impressed with this trash can.
I've only had this for 2 weeks but I'm really liking it. The measurements from the description are spot-on. The shipping packaging around it was awesome, but it did have a tiny dent on the top, probably from the pail shifting in transit (no packing inside the can) but I'm keeping it anyway. Many reviews say it's small, but it's really pretty big. We are a 2 adult household. We don't drink sodas or milk (not much plastic or soda cans), and not much prepared foods or fast foods... maybe that will give you an idea what our kitchen garbage can be. This can will hold a week of garbage and a week of recycle items with some room to spare. When I throw away an item on either side, the foot controlled lid is slow to close so I've found that I can toss stuff in there and it's NEVER hit the floor instead! Also the totally flat surface comes in handy from time to time! Another nice feature ... I can take the garbage side and the recycle side outside at the same time since the recycle side has a pail handle! And since neither side is huge (garbage side takes an 8 gallon bag perfectly and you can't see it when the lid is shut) I'm not straining my back to carry it. The lid lock is handy when I'm removing the pails... don't have to touch the lids. Lastly it looks so CLEAN and functional. I think this is totally worth the price. Since I figure 60 bags will last me over a year at the rate I empty this can I splurged and bought these on Amazon for $18 ... OKKEAI Trash Bags 8 Gallon Biodegradable Garbage Bags Thicker 0.98 MIL Compost Bags Wastebasket Liners for Kitchen Office, Lawn,Bathroom,60 Count (Fits 7-10 Gallon Bins). They fit perfectly, the color matches the recycle side (OCD wife and even she will admit it) and I feel good about my little contribution to our planet.

Not bad
I searched for quite a while for a two compartment trashcan, surprisingly they’re kind of hard to find. So this one meets the basic needs, it has two compartments and the quality is decent. The lids have a nice thing in the hinges to keep them from slamming shut too fast, but that wore out very fast. My biggest complaint is just the size. We are a family of five, and it’s just too small. If they would make it just a little bit bigger, this would be perfect

Seems like good quality
Got it in about a week, though they said it could be much longer. Comes packed in three cartoons so there are no dents. My only complaint so far is getting the sticker off the front of it. It's on there good. Finally got it off using rubbing alcohol, paper towel and my nails. The two bins have lift out containers and the bigger one will hold Cosco's 13 gallon bags nicely. It also makes it easy to tuck the sides of the bag under the lip of the container so nothing is showing. The whole thing sits right up to the bottom molding and the lids are flush so it sits right up to the wall without hitting it. It has a switch to lock them in the up position, or they come down slowly when you take your foot off the peddle. Seems good not to show a lot of finger prints. Not sure you would want it if you have a big family. Holds less then the bigger round cans that only holds trash. There is no instructions with it, but you really don't need them, the video tells you all you need to know. It looks nice and I keep this in my small kitchen instead of outside where I keep my old round one. Box says it has a three year warranty.

Lasted 6 mos until it became trash
I wanted to like this, but couldn't. It has a lot of great features like the individually opening lids and handle for carrying out the inner containers, but it has a critical design flaw in the lid. One lid broke and now the whole thing is garbage (excuse the pun).2 big cons for of this can:1) Design flaw in hinge: After 6 months of kitchen use, the lid hinge on the small side broke, now I have to replace the entire thing, since I can no longer open/close the right side.2) I have it backed against a wall, as most people would for space saving, and both lids smack the wall aggressively hard & very loudly. Even when pulling it out from the wall a bit it still happens. It was so bad I ended up gluing rubber foam pieces to the lid. This wasn't the prettiest, and didn't completely fix the problem, but at least it didn't sound like someone banging a GONG every time the can was opened. Now that the lid broke - I have to find a new solution. I'm just going to bite the bullet and buy 2 separate cans that are more sturdy construction, like Simple Human.
